Really good sushi. New weekend spot. Ramen wasn't bad either. Will definitely be back. Sundays are perfect.

Why this is my favorite sushi place:1) They always play bangers here2) the drinks are cheap and strong3) the food is FANTASTIC4) the staff are accommodating and friendly. They will remember you! Perfect hole in the wall place to take your friends and family when they visit.
My daughter and I love to get the salmon bento box and gyoza! Also love their spicy tuna rolls ?

Terrible. We walked in to a bad smell. Should have walked right out. Sat at a table and tried not to notice the dirty paint chipped walls. Like huge chunks of paint and plaster missing. Ordered a few rolls and sushi. All covered in sauces. Eel roll. Eel cold and rubbery. Hermosa roll very fishy and not edible. Blech. The whole meal was terrible. The tuna sushi was still frozen. The waiter acted like he didn't notice none of the food was eaten. It was as if he knew it was horrific

There was only three staff members yet they provided exceptional service which was very prompt for our table of nine people. Our server was also friendly and helpful choosing menu items. The food was fresh, particularly the sashimi and sushi fish. There is a good selection of sushi and adequate numbers of sake to choose from.

Wanted some soup and this was nearest to the shore so I gave it a try , DO NOT waste your money here bad service , bad tasting food, soup not tasty , I’ll just go to Costco and get the microwave ramen if this is the only
This review is for a Friday night 9pm dinner. There are plenty of parking spaces infront of the restaurant.The dining area with tables is small but seating area is comfortable. We choose to seat at the table, and not at the sushi bar.I had gyoza, California roll, and hot green tea. The gyozas are deep fried; I preferred pan fried. The California roll came with pickled ginger and Wasabi. My green tea was a Yamamoto brand tea bag.My honey had the shrimp tempura Don, a spicy tuna roll, and a Soporo. He ate everything, so it must have been good. Our waiter gave us a bottle of Soporo but charged us for a large beer. He should have asked if we wanted a regular size or large. Minus 1 star.The woman's bathroom is clean. Overall, food is good, dining area is comfortable. Some menu item does not have detail description of ingredients... so be sure to talk to the waiter. We will definitely return in the future.Yelp incorrectly states the location as Redondo Beach. This restaurant is located in Hermosa Beach.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered delivery. The first time I received a roll called Sunset Roll. I was advertised as wrapped with soy paper. I received it with rice no soy paper. I Called them & they confirmed it was supposed to be with soy paper not rice. I just ordered again, I also sent a message along with the order to make sure it was wrapped in soy paper as advertised, because the last time it was not.Guess what , I received this latest order with again, no soy paper wrapped just the rice. The other roll I ordered was the Salmon avocado roll, also supposed to be wrapped in soy paper. It was not. It was with rice. Pretty sure they did not even READ the message to make sure they came as advertised. I will not order from them again.
