This place is so amazing. The owner and his wife, the staff and the people are all so welcoming and their food is excellent. So is the wine. This was my second time and I’ll be back for sure!

Hidden gem. Stopped by a bit early on a Friday night with my wife and kiddo and we had a fantastic experience. Cocktails were tasty, food was delicious, service was excellent, and the vibe was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower, tuna bruschetta, farmer's cheese, the duck special if they have it, and any one of their fantastic (healthy pours) wines on tap. Can't wait to come back!

Cozy restaurant that serves tapas style/ shareable dishes that primarily focuses on Tunisian/ North African food and is located in a small strip mall (with plenty of parking - was there on a Saturday night). The service was very friendly and very helpful - and much like the vibe at the restaurant, the people here were laid back.Came in and was seated at the bar right away. The rest of the inside was booked up so reservations may help if you want a sport on the inside. There's also outside seating in a makeshift tent area with heat lamps. The menu has a good amount of options without being overwhelming. What we ordered: Chicken liver Pate - this was really great! An interactive and fun dish with the compote and crushed pistachio on the side. I think we could have used another small slice of bread or two here. La Gouletter Mussels- great flavors on the mussels and the broth. Enjoyed getting every little bit possible with the bread. Roasted cauliflower - big fan of this dish. Big fan of cauliflower in general because it takes on the flavors of the other ingredients so well. The dill added another dimension. Braised Beef Cheeks - this was a comforting dish and was great with the peppers. Definitely a great dish as the entree. Fig brownie - a great dessert that wasn't too sweet.Overall, this was a fun and chill restaurant. Great for a place where you want to go out with another person or small group for a nice dinner that doesn't feel stuffy. There's also a stage that plays live music. We left prior to the performance began though.

It's nice when you can find an excellent place to eat right here in The Beach Cities. Barsha is the best! The Lamb Meatballs are yummy, the eggplant ? was perfect and super flavorful, the roasted cauliflower was perfection. Wait staff was A+++, friendly and informative. The chocolate cake with the caramelized figs OMG! Plenty of freeeeee parking ?️, can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Certainly the best in The South Bay, and one of the best in the greater Los Angeles area.

Food: want to try something different. Although it is categorized as a Mediterranean restaurant, it is actually Northern African food, to be specific. We ordered hand of Fatima, seafood stew, lamp meatballs Tunisian bruschetta and roasted cauliflower. I like the different herbs used in each dish. My favorite is hand of Fatima with hummus/ Harrisa/ pesto/ tapenade/ olives. I really like the taste of pesto and tapenade and olives. The mussels in seafood stew is very tendered, well cooked at right timing. Also they have varieties of alcohol drink to choose. Service: The waiter Ollie is really friendly and knows the menu quite well. We like the wine and the dishes she recommended.Ambiance: we can only sat in Patio as we did not make the reservation and this is quite a popular place during the weekend. With heater, we were very warm and can enjoy the food.Inside seems to be a very chill place with a live music and open bar.

Service: servers were welcoming and served with smiles Ambiance: The inside of the restaurant isn't big but has a full bar, live stage, and outdoor seating. Barsha has a unique style and cozy vibes. We went on Sunday night, and there was a live jazz performance from 5-8 pm. We'll go back for Live jazz again and also without as well. Food: We ordered a Hand of Fatima, Roasted Eggplant, Falafel sliders, Beef Cheek cous cous and Fig Brownie. Although everything was delicious and had good portions, The best was the falafel sliders. The falafel was so soft ( my husband said it was the best falafel he ever had) and perfectly harmonized with a slider that I almost thought I was eating a burger and could have another one with the full-size burger. Dessert: Fig brownie was also my favorite! I mostly tasted figs more than dough which i liked! The texture of fig seeds and sweetness made it more enjoyable! And We'll definitely go back!

During a recent visit to the Los Angeles area, my companion and I were kind of stuck for a place to go last minute on New Year's Eve. We called Barsha and the person answering the phone was very nice and told us that they were booked solid for tables, but the bar was open and to stop by so we didThe ambience was great. The service was equally as good. There was a gentleman playing classical guitar that included some Mediterranean style music and he was absolutely fantastic!Somebody who may have been the owner or simply the manager, I'm not sure, came to us more than once to make sure everything was good, and that we were happy, and we were! The menu was mostly a "small plates" style, which was fine, and my only complaint, and this is a very minor complaint, There was very little protein on the menu. Most dishes were Mediterranean, and the vast majority were "vegetarian" or so it seemed. There's only one chicken dish which we did order and it was absolutely delicious. My only suggestion to the owners would be, "add some protein - the animal variety"Otherwise, I would definitely return to the place.

To sum it up: While the food is good, the portions are small for the price. The standouts were the all the dips in the hand of Fatima, the falafel sliders and the branzino. The portion size for small plates was perfectly fine but the big plates were pretty small. The zaatar fries were a bit too salty. Barsha definitely has a novelty factor going for it. Where else are you going to get Tunisian food in Hermosa?
