Carbonara pasta was almost without sauce, dry. Although there's a bar, only wine and beer are served with your meal. Birthday complimentary dessert was dry cube of brownie with teaspoon of whipped cream. The candle was better than the dessert.

An upscale, but diverse menu with many choices at varying price points, is why this is a go-to restaurant for us when we visit Hermosa Beach. They can accommodate a large group of family outside for a raucous dinner and simultaneously be the intimate candlelight dinner my wife and I enjoyed on our recent visit. Salads are great and many entree choices. I loved the Sicilian rigatoni and my wife, who has a variety of good allergies, was treated to a very flavorful and complex non-dairy linguini. We enjoyed some sparkling wine along with our salads and pasta dinner. Dago, our server was helpful and just the right level of attentive. Plus, he surprised us with a comped dessert when we pled room for not another bite. We could have shared a pasta course, and probably will next time because there are enticing appetizers and dessert options.

This was our second time coming here, both have been such great experiences the food is top notch. Our server last night was excellent and really helped create such a great experience for my boyfriend's birthday we can't wait to come back and try new things!

This is our go to restaurant while visiting Hermosa Beach. Food, drinks, and service is spot on. Tables were cleaned immediately with new table cloths. My only negative, it I noted on reservation it was my birthday, not given a verbal Happy Birthday!! Oh well will continue to dine here.

My son and husband ordered the gnocchi and my son had an extremely small portion in comparison to my husband's dish who didn't have a very good size portion as well. I had to give my son some of my food because he was done in a few bites with his. We didn't say anything to our server but should have. He ate some more bread and we got him a dessert to fill him up but he is only 12 and not a huge eater but there was simply was not enough food for even a small child on that plate.

This restaurant is fantastic!!!The food is always great.. full portions and reasonably priced... the Della Casa salad is our favorite.. which has both heats of palm and artichoke hearts and a wonderful light dressing... all pastas are great... we had the sea bass which was fresh and was served with veggies and potatoes. Love this restaurant and when the weather gets better the outdoor patio is fantastic.. 1/2 a block in from the beach... Excellent service and atmosphere.
Excellent experience. Great food. Wonderful attitude and professionalism from the staff. Only thing I would change are that some tables are too close together and can feel a little crowded. Will definitely keep going back.
We drive over an hour and a half to have dinner at this place. We absolutely love it! A special thank you to Oscar for always making our dining experience there extra special. I cannot recommend this place enough! A true gem!
