Definitely nothing good here! Everything was terrible, poor quality food. The place really needs a good cleaning! The restroom was the dirtiest I've ever seen.

Not a favorite. People were great. The food not so much. I thought there would be a bigger selection. They have the typical foods like orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and mushroom chicken. There were fried chicken, chicken fingers, and fied fish, probably options for young kids, but that's pretty much it. Normally, teriyaki chicken is a favorite for me, but it tasted like it was boiled in water and not grilled. The sauce couldn't save it. The Wontons were good, spring rolls had no flavor, and the things that look like tiny tacos (don't remember the name) were a hit or miss depending on how long they were cooked. Some foods were over cooked like the hard boiled eggs at the salad bar. Other foods were undercooked like the French fries, soggy. There wasn't much of a salad bar. Most of the food didn't have much of a flavor to it. Even the sauces were more on the watery side. I didn't bother with the fish options, mostly fried foods anyway. I had a hard time figuring out what some of the desserts were. That table isn't labeled and not appealing. The drinks are charged separately but you do get free refills. They do have alcohol options too. The restroom was a whole other set of problems. The faucet isn't labeled and the water can get extremely hot, like could burn you. For some reason, there is a large trash can in the small stall. There isn't much room in that stall as it is. The handicap stall, I noticed the vent is extremely dirty. Overall, I didn't see much to be concerned about regarding cleanliness except that vent in the restroom. I came in when they had special pricing under new management. It was about $16 per person on the weekends. I'm guessing that means the prices will increase. I would be willing to pay more if the food was seasoned, cooked well, and the options were a little more expanded. It could be so much better, but for me, it's not worth coming back as it is now.

This place is good but they recently changed owners and the food taste different, I’m not sure if I will eat here again cause of that reason.

Was here for lunch today, for 2 people with drinks was just over $30. I Haven't been here for a few years. The last experience was horrible. Under new management and let me start out with the Smiles from the first 2 ladies was a nice start!! Place was super clean , food was plentiful and good looking. There were no little flies in the soup. Containers were fresh and never empty. Wasnt a lot out for waste and the table service removing the plates was great. Will be going back for a dinner soon. This place has changed for the better , give it a shot. Imo this place could be a every week stop? Keep smiling Ladies.

Very welcoming. Food was not bad. Large selection. Dessert had a lack of flavor.

New owner and management, forget past reviews. Buffet is very good and a variety of choices. A must eat at restaurant. A great addition to our High Desert.

The food was surprisingly good! Everything was fresh. They only put out small amounts at a time but there were never empty spots on the buffet. Very friendly staff!

Just left this establishment 3/13/23. The food did not look appetizing. It really looked disgusting. I only tried the fried rice, chow mein, mushroom chicken and broccoli beef. It was not good to say the least. The food, you can tell has been sitting there for hours if not days. Lol but the staff was very friendly. I won’t be coming back here I feel like after eating I’m going to throw up. It has potential but nah. As soon as we walked in there was literally 2 people. They need to make the food, made to order instead of letting it sit there for hours. Not worth it, not sure how they stay in business.

Found a bug (small gnat or something) on a cucumber from the salad bar, tasted like all the fried food was cooked in the same oil and all had a fishy taste, noodles were overcooked and some pieces were hard, and the taste wasn't consistent between items (example, multiple egg rolls all tasted different.) It was cheap-ish though, $32 for an adult and 2 kids for the lunch buffet. I thought we lucked out that there was no one there, now I see why. We won't be returning

Came here last minute for a dinner date with my husband. Rafaela who was host was super sweet. The environment was super clean. But the food was terrible. Meats were either under cooked or overcooked. I didn’t mind that a lot of the food was dried out since my husband and I came at the last hour before closing. But everything just seemed to have a terrible taste to it. We spent $38 and only bit and spit everything we thought would taste good. Which was only rice, beef broccoli, wontons, egg rolls, pot stickers and orange chicken, egg foo soup. But chow mein was decent. Only thing we did enjoy was salad, ice cream and our almond cookies and also our soda. So basically only things that don’t have to be prepared. I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would rather waste my money at W Spoon off of La Paz in Victorville even though I hate that place too but they taste better then China Palace. I’m sorry to their staff you all were very friendly but something has to change with this place especially if this place has been around for awhile. I don’t understand how they were awarded best buffet in the High Desert in 2019. Maybe it was under new management? Who knows?
