The place is a diamond in the rough. Seriously a little hidden gem. I have lived in the high desert on and off my whole life and had heard great things about the "Airport Cafe" but had never been, until recently. The food is great and the service was wonderful. I appreciated the affordable prices as well. Good Mexican food and a little bit of something for everyone on the menu. Will definitely be back.

Food wasn't the most flavor able and was cold. Service was kind of poor and slow. We won't be back. YMMV.

The airport burrito is life! A well made burrito, good portion as well! I visit my family here on the Mesa and this is my go to for Mexican food here. I highly recommend you make a trip here to enjoy the food as well as the kind folks that work at this gem!

Great service from the moment we arrived! We had a big party and they were very accommodating. The waiter Neo was amazing and attentive. Food was delicious with authentic Mexican flavor. Perfect Sunday Brunch! We will definitely be returning

What a great little surprise. I pass by this place all the time on my way to the 138 since we live on the northside of Hesperia. It is literally located at the Hisperia airport, which would be which is a private airport that most people might not have heard of because it's very small. We wanted to grab a late breakfast on a Saturday after doing some running around. When we stopped here, it was fairly easy to get in and we were surprised at how spacious the restaurant was on the inside. As you enter to the left, there is actually a bar area but to the right is the restaurant area. We were greeted by warm and friendly host, who scored us to the back where we found our seat. The restaurant is not fancy. It's really nothing to write home about the food is good and the servers are warm and friendly. We decided to go with the breakfast side of the menu, which is actually served for most of the day. I opted for chili, Verde and eggs, which was an excellent choice. My wife ordered the Machaca breakfast. It was also good, but I think I chose the better of the two dishes. The meal was served with two small sides of beans and rice.

Rice was dry, (3 salsas, none had any flavor), Relleno seemed like it was frozen and reheated with tomatoe paste on top. Tri tip sandwich wasn't tri tip, it was more like beef jerky. I asked for medium rare, it was was well-done as you can imagine. I wasn't going to leave a review but I saw that they have a 4.3 (and that's just not possible). Lettuce was brown... I could've go on.

Don Reyes is such a nostalgic place: if you're looking for somewhere close to home without having to drive into town this is it. The servers are always so nice and food is good.
