The food was horrible, had a pastrami the other day because it was highly recommended but it was the most driest and salty pastrami I have ever had. Went back today because my grandson wanted fried zucchini and a Philly cheesesteak it had no peppers whatsoever I ordered a cheeseburger, it had absolutely no flavor the only good thing were the onion rings because the zucchini were only four little ones the size of my ring finger. Do not recommend this place for having a good meal Burger King makes a better cheeseburger than this place. No stars.

Yuk!! I've been going to this place for years! And my visits have been fewer through the last months. Ever since the new owner took over, the quality of the food has been on a steady decline. I was there Saturday, ordered 2 Steak sandwiches and a Super Sub. The Steak Sandwiches left a lot to be desired. There was 2 micro slices of cheese on the bottom of the buns. The bottom of the bun. The steak was dry and bland. I asked for easy onions on one of the steak sandwiches and got 4 pieces of onions! I think there were 4! I was left so disappointed! I'm used to having a decent amount of cheese ON, on the meat! I've never had a Steak Sandwich anywhere where the cheese is on the bottom! But anyway...I digress. This place sucks! I've yet to find a Steak Sandwich as good as them! Charlie's Steak Sandwiches are pretty good.

2024: Still loving this place!Again, amazing Philly subs, the best part of this place, but I think that's obvious due to the name lol.Their fried zucchini, French fries, and onion rings are also a must order side!They have Boba, which is why the kids ask to come back time and time again.I still recommend staying away from the burgers though. Stick to the subs and sides.I've not actually eaten in the restaurant, we usually order over the phone and pick up but the inside is very small and very worn out. It's usually quite loud but is not unbearable.—-2019: I’m a bit torn on this review between giving 4 or 5 stars. There are many restaurants which specialize in one specific food so everything else is really just okay. I think that applies here... If you order a Philly Sub they are amazing! Absolutely delicious. The french fries, onion rings, and fried zucchini are a must for every visit. BUT if you order a burger or 60% of any other sub sandwich.. eh. The burgers are very very thin patties and something about the flavor just isn't right. Both times I've tried a burger I ended up eating part of the toppings and tossing the rest. I've had two cold subs that I loved, two warm that I loved, and while I enjoyed the bacon on my BLT it was overly heavy on the L and light on everything else. We will continue to come back here and enjoy the food but we are definitely staying away from the burgers

I've been going here for the last 30 years the first time since the new owners I ordered the three-piece combo the fried combo they are all second time I ordered a large number one the same sandwich I've ordered for 30 years got it dry as can be even though when I asked for them to put extra dressing on today I went back drove all the way from Lucerne valley there about 20 mi to the lady please toast the bread extra dressing got it thing was absolutely horrible super dry did not toast the bread very unfortunate I'm going to have to call good on 30 years I call them all he says is I'm sorry didn't ask me how we can fix the problem or nothing so I am done with this placegoing to this place anymoreW

Can't believe we lived near here for many years and never tried this place. It is so delicious! The portion size is huge and great flavor. Inside the restaurant is a seating area with a few booths. It was busy when we went but got a seat. We tried the fried mushrooms( so good) and the philly cheesesteak (also delicious). The only negative is pulling in and out on a busy street but that isn't in their control. Love it and will go back.
