Had an amazing dinner. Ribeye was on point, well all dishes! Not to mention great hospitality and knowledge of mixology! Espresso martinis were delightful! Would go again and definitely recommend going!

Our server was amazing. Loved his personal touch. The food was great. They seemed to be in the process of upgrading some of the decor in the restaurant or I would have given a 5 for atmosphere.

We stopped in today and what a special surprise! We started with the calamari and it was fresh and tender. Then we had the tequila shrimp...don't miss out, it was exceptional. Our main course was the curry chicken bowl and salmon bowl. Wow....we both were completely overwhelmed. The freshness, the combination of flavors and balance was a delight and an invitation to return again and again. The service was excellent and very personalized. Do not underestimate this Hollister staple! We will recommend this to everyone.

The ambience was very nice and warm. I was really looking forward to my dinner as a first time customer. The menu offering had 1 steak (that I saw) and offered no burger or sandwich for kids. We placed our order and our server came by once after 25 minutes to tell us our food would be out soon. The place was not even half capacity so we thought it was strange. Meanwhile 3 couples that came in after us were served. They don't serve bread either. We continued to sit and had to flag our server for a refill on our drinks because she seemingly forgot about us. After about 35 - 40 minutes in total - our order came. One entree was sizzling, the others were warm. It was apparent the majority of food had been ready but somehow they forgot the one meal that was hot and sizzling. No apology, nothing said. At that point our server did became a bit more attentive so that was a plus. The food was mediocre at best. My risotto was mushy. IMO, service needs to step up and it's never OK to serve one hot dish and the rest almost cold. I don't think I'll be going back.

Came here on a Friday. Service was good. I believe we had Michael? As our server. He was great! Very kind and friendly. Food was good a bit expensive but otherwise good overall. Drinks were alright. Was not really impressed with the menu. I would say ambiance lacked. The decor was nice but the vibe was just not there. Music was low or not playing at all. Might return in future if I'm too tired to drive out of town.

Great place to celebrate anything. Definitely a nice change for hollister. We love Mexican food but there's an over abundance of it in this town. Decently priced and good cocktails. Gives a 1920's prohibition meets classic Italian steakhouse

This place stands out big time... FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS!!! It's as much of a steakhouse as I am a starting pitcher for the San Francisco Giants..... I haven't yelped in over a year, but couldn't let this go due to the fact that this dinner made me and my dear lady PHYSICALLY ill. Gnocchi, undercooked with a jarred pesto. Short ribs were actually a pot roast. And the "risotto" was a joke.., an absolute joke!.. way to go Hollister!!! Johnnys is next door for a burger and fries if you don't feel like getting disappointed

Great food, the best service in the area, customers are considerate of each other. If you want a high quality classy dinner, go to the Baler.

The owners are ones who attend the restaurant with their crew, place are super clean, extraordinary atmosphere, food are delicious and the service is wonderful, the chef Raul is paying attention all the time whether your food is good. The had nice live music and the chef was singing happily while cooking. It was a nice experience! If you want to celebrate something special, definitely this is the place.I had the cajun salmon and fried artichoke with a mojito. The best food ever in Hollister and near by.

Nice sized spot. I think frank sinatra was playing in the background. I ordered the shrimp carbonara and it was delicious. I got like 5-6 nice sized shrimp in the pasta. Still full! The service was the server was helpful!

Went in on a Thursday and I was surprised it wasn't more full. I hope this place makes it as it's a great addition in Hollister. They have great food, huge portions, great service, a nice bar, nice decor and it feels classy without feeling out of place with jeans and a t-shirt. We had the Cajun ragu and chicken Parmesan for our mains and started with the fried zucchini, that had a great dipping sauce. I got an extra two meals out of my pasta. It was just as good as leftovers. Happy to have come here!

Everything but the steak was excellent. But the steak had tough gresel down the center and it was very hard to chewWhat wasn't tough tasted good and it was cooked correctly. It was just a bad piece of meat. It was a filet mignon which was on the online menu but not the menu they provided. When I asked why the difference they said they were not serving them in the future but still had one left. Wish they didn't have that one

Fantastic high-end option here in Hollister. Good food. Amazing service. Really appealing place overall. Went there a few weeks ago with my family and we all had a very positive experience. Will be returning.
