Service was good but the food was not so great. Well at least what I order . I ordered 2 tacos and a drink and that later gave me heartburn and nausea. A friend of mine got enchiladas and they were not good either.

I love the salsa. But the menudo was so bad . The tripe was hard and under cooked. Absolutely no flavor. I am a culinary trained chef, And I try out the local restaurant all up and down the west coast. I’ve had Menudo everywhere And El Michoacano is the worst. I’m sorry. Maybe you’re having a bad day but it was a nasty no flavor no spices.

It was a little after mid day an I have been craving a Caldo de Res ( beef soup) So I went to El Michoacano, I had been there before and wasn't nt disappointed. Needless to say I wasn't disappointed this time either. $18.99 The Caldo was just what I was Craving. It had fresh Chiote, zucchini, carrots, potatoe, a corn cob Harty portion of beef that was really tender and full of flavor you look for in a Caldo. It came with a harty side of Spanish rice and I asked for corn tortillas of a choice between flour or corn. I had a ice tea $2.00. I was served chips and salsa while I waited on my dish which didn't take a long time, there was only about 8 other patrons inside and a couple in the outside seating, facing the hill side. Camila my waitresses was on her game, she checked on me several times. The restrooms were clean. There were a several large tables for groups. 2 thumbs up for me!Parking: Lots of parking

My only complaint is they do not offer wine and margaritas don't have real tequila but agave wine. So they could easily offer wine.

Bad experience dropped my food and still put it on my plate, no flavor , bad service you could be chocking on your food and they still won’t ask if you need anything.
