Hours posted on door say 9pm and online 8:45. My husband drove from San Jose to make it 5-10 min before 8:45 and the doors were already locked and the employees refused to acknowledge him. This is the 3rd time we go when it’s supposed to be open and it’s closed.

The bread was very hard and don't taste like fresh bread. They shouldn't sell bread from so many days ago

So my local bakery closed down in the Coachella Valley, and had not enjoyed bread for sometime. El Nopal is AMAZING!! Taste is authentic to what Mexican pan should taste like Small little bakery but HUGE in flavor and quality!! Always stopping by when visiting Hollister.

I love El Nopal Bakery! The pan dulce is so fresh, tasty and affordable. It's my go to place whenever I crave sweets. Or bread, or sweet-breads!I love the fresh flour and corn tortillas too! It doesn't get any better than that! ?

I had heard from some folks that this place is great and I made a pit stop here today. It is quite unassuming but they do serve some very good pan dulce. My waist was not happy but my taste buds were.

Hands down best panaderia! Prices are fair, conchas are soft & fresh. My MiL swears by their masa.

I love El Nopal! It's a staple in Hollister than I have gone to since I was a little kid. Prices are more than reasonable and always fresh.Just be aware, they only take cash so make sure to have some on hand when you go.If you're looking for an excellent Panderia, this is one of my favorites!

My absolute favorite Mexican bakery! Their conchas are amazing! The bread is actually soft and delicious not just the sugary part. I love their cinnamon cookies with strawberry jelly.
I love this bakery I have been coming here since I was little and the bread is always nice and soft I've never had a bad experience with the bread. The customer service is also amazing the lady's that work here are always super nice and sweet. The atmosphere of this place is also very welcoming.
