First class service and the food was excellent, a great find. Surprised to find this great Japanese restaurant in Hollister and just a ten minute walk from our hotel so we could enjoy a few drinks with dinner. Highly recommended

The food was good. The service was needing improvement. The guy that was our waiter was just playing on his phone or talking to the girl that works there. Our drinks needed filling and we literally needed to wavy him down several times. And took him forever to give us our check after we were done.

We came with a large party on a busy Saturday night and they were short staffed. We were treated extremely well under the circumstances and the food was great. Everyone enjoyed the restaurant and the staff did a great job.

What a train wreck. They had signs saying that they were understaffed bu. t that was only one of the issues with this place. I ordered soft shall crabs and my wife ordered a Gilroy roll. Her roll was very bland. It came right up and I waited ..... and waited ..... and despite the waitress saying "it will be right up," waited some more. I thought they were waiting for the crab to molt. When it came, it was not two crabs as in the photo on the menu, but one very small heavily breaded crab cut into pieces. I was unhappy but what is the point of complaining when I;d probably have to wait even longer? All in all, a terrible dining experience.

This was a reasonable place, the server was nice, but it took a while to get our food. We tried two rolls, they were nice, but I’ve had better. The same sauce on both, and it was unremarkable. I will try a different spot next time

Slow food and somewhat rude service. Pricey for small portions. Foods were distasteful specifically the S.E.X. Roll and the Godzilla roll. Expensive for small portions. They may look cheap but they are much smaller than other sushi restaurants in bigger towns. As much as i want to vouch for a good sushi in town, i am not going to put my name on this restaurant
