food was pretty bad, my pancakes just tasted like wheat bread with a million blueberries stuffed inside. our food came 45 mins late because they “lost our ticket”, no blame to the waitress she was good but i do feel like the cooks should get it together.

Definitely go there for an old Hollywood vibe , the food is decent but not great but the service. There could be a wait before finding a seat it took us a good 30 minutes but no

Excellent service, 25 minute wait but it went fast, delicious food ? I highly recommend this diner. I ordered the Challah French toast with berries and hash browns. I had to take half of it in a box. It was a large portion.

This place is so amazing! It's comfort food at it's best! I tried the blueberry pancakes that they had on special. There were made out of cornmeal and so tasty. It's a bit of a wait to get in and touristy for sure but I think it's worth your time and you won't be disappointed!

I am incredibly saddened this place has closed down. I used to go all the time when I lived in LA. RIP, and thanks for the memories.

I was shocked to see that this place shut down. Shocked. I started coming here right after moving to L.A. back in 2001. I loved the movie Swingers and was stoked to realize this was that place. The spaghetti Bolognese was my go-to dish. The cherry pie was dope too. Used to do date night with my ex here. We broke up in October. Now it's January and they're closed. Fitting, I suppose. If it comes back, cool! If not, thanks for the fun, for the juke box, for the awesome wait staff, and for all the late-night breakfasts and hilarity trying to get my ex's stick shift to drive up the tiny hill into the parking lot without rolling backwards onto other cars. All of it was a blast.

Many lunch meetings here over the years. Sad to see it shut down. Delicious food every time I was there. We will miss you, 101!

Don't listen to Steve down there in the reviews- this place is GREAT! Every single time I've eaten here the staff has been friendly and attentive, the diner has a great atmosphere at noon as well as 3am. If you haven't tried their black eye shake then you're missing out. This is truly a Los Angeles staple and a fun place to eat. (Plus I saw Mark Duplass here once and that was cool)

So sad this place is closed. One of the few classic diners in LA that had vegetarian options. The food was always good. The vibe always great. And open late so there was always a good option to hang, commune, and eat a meal that wasn't fast food past midnight. Loved this place.

Breakfast here is always a must when we visit Los Angels . Don't let the line out the door scare you away. Management keeps it moving. Good comfort food. Get the croissants and don't forget the Peppermint Mocha coffee.

What a beautiful and pleasant day to appreciate this outstanding coffee shop that I visited earlier. I was astonished by their service and place. It was all tidy and clean. Perhaps, I was touched by the beautiful and handsome crews that showed the curved in their lips as they served me well. For me, everything was perfect. From the good taste of their coffees to the sweetness of their pastries, all that I could say was Wow. I’ll be back soon!

One of the best coffee shops in town as all knew! They have great coffee and delicious cookies here! The staff is super friendly, actually, they are the most welcoming and the nicest people I ever met in a coffee shop. We would be coming back here again soon. I would recommend this to everyone who loved coffee.

Before anything else, I would like to extend my warm thanks to my lovely friend for telling me about this coffee shop! You're really the best! Knowing that this brilliant coffee shop exists made me giddy with excitement! You can never blame me for being a coffee-lover! Everything that was offered by them on their menus looked great and delicious! Thanks for your great service, guys! I'll definitely be a regular customer!
