I came here for a quick lunch. Ordered the margarita asked for a top shelf tequila it wasn't the greatest, whatever margarita mix they use isn't good. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, it was OKAY wasn't an actual shrimp cocktail from a Mariscos place, there were about 4 good size shrimp in it. Also ordered the potato balls, those were really good and the sauce it comes with is good but super spicy.

One of best ropa viejaI've ever had. If you really want authentic Cuban food, you must come here.Parking: You need to pay for valet parking.Kid-friendliness: I'm not sure if this place is kid friendly for sure, not in the evening. I wouldn't recommend it.Wheelchair accessibility: They might have wheelchair accessible.

This is one of my favorite spots to visit when I'm back in LA. Not sure about how it is during the day, I can only attest to Friday/Saturday nights for salsa nights! A live band sits at the front of the restaurant with a plentiful dance floor that is never empty. I love how people are there just for the love of dance, I didn't feel hesitant to dance with new people or even some grandmas who were there to just have a good time. Best to make a reservation for a table a day or two before (check the website). So nice to have a table to sit down at for a breather in between songs. There is comprehensive Cuban menu but a separate menu for people who reserve a table for salsa night (includes price of admission). Food was hearty and amazing! This place isn't just a dance club/restaurant...it's an experience! even if you are not into dancing, the people watching is pretty entertaining too. Last few times I was there, there were some professionals like dancing with the stars level. Before the band starts there is a simple dance lesson for newbies too. This would be a great date night or just a fun night out with friends!

My best friend's birthday was on a Monday night and she wanted to go out on a school night like a rock star! A friend suggested we come here because we wanted to salsa dance and they have a live band. The price fixe dinner was reasonable but drinks were pricey as everywhere else. However, we got to keep our table the whole night and the wonderful servers took care of us all night, giving us water and giving my BFF a slice of cake with a candle. My salmon was good once I took the super salty skin off (yikes!) and my BFF really enjoyed the oxtail. Drinks were strong. I think the cost of our evening was worth it because of they have a dance lesson plus a huge 8 piece live band AND DJ on a Monday night. I only ask that maybe they improve the lighting for dinner because it was wayyyy too bright when we got there and it didn't feel cozy or very elegant. They definitely darken the space when the dancing begins, but it would've been nice to have candlelight for dinner. If you're into salsa and want to have a fun night of Cuban dinner and dancing on a Monday night, this is a good place. We especially loved the servers for being so good to us all night - made my BFF feel special!

I loved the food and the attention, we arrived this Sunday to celebrate my mom's birthday. And maybe they would close early.Maybe that's why they rushed us and that didn't make me feel comfortable.Otherwise the food, the prices and the place were very delicious.

Such a fun place to have a friend night or date night. The food was delicious but rather on the high end and they automatically add 20% gratuity. The service was great and we had a table the whole night. Valet parking available. Live band was great and free salsa dancing lesson before the band starts

It's a veerryy small venue but the live music is great. It helps to have dinner first so you have somewhere to sit. Drinks are decent. The place is filled with locals/

Delicious steak! Live music and dance performances! I come here to perform once in a while and it's just a great lively place! It gets crowded but everyone's having a good time.

It is the first time that I have to make a negative comment about a place and this one really deserves it. Last night I was with my partner, around 11 at night to share with a group of friends that you were already in this place very early, and I highlight that they had already paid their dinner bill. Arriving, they did not charge for the entrance, understandable ok, 30 dollars and the service at the door was terrible. Then I ordered an old clothes, the cold rice, the cold bananas, and when FYI to pay This is the only thing that the one who calls himself "meser0" charges me 80 dollars, ahhhh and the gratuity of the group that had already paid their bill and additionally mycho Maa tip...I ask him why that dish is so food and why does he want to charge me? What's more, when my friends had already paid their bill and I had just arrived, I didn't even ask for water. Without an answer, of course, he evades charging and says to sit. Here I should charge him that, I ask, so my friends would have already paid their bill? He leaves and I ask him for my payment receipt and he tells me that it is not possible because the computer does not allow him to give me one. This guy is a dishonest, a freeloader, along with this place they charge more and whatever they want. ...terrible service, total thieves...who charge admission and even then more than they want. I couldn't have this waiter's name, I only know that he is short, and has glasses. So place 0 recommended for everything. Be careful when you go, they charge you more than what it is and then they don't even give you a receipt. I will report this to the entities

Always happy to enjoy this restaurant and music. Food was good and service super good also friendly. Just a suggestion however for when the final bill comes. Print it so that it could be reviewed and perhaps let the customer know we pay the credit card processing sur charge of 3% of the whole bill. If your bill is $850 and you’re paying 3% of the surcharge that’s a lot of money. I realized this when I got home and reviewed the bill in detail. I’d much rather have it go towards tip. ?‍♀️ it was loud and I couldn’t hear or they can can’t hear me but I wanted the bill printed. Otherwise El Floridita is always enjoyable.

The food was great. I went during the live event and the seating is tight, but it's to clear room for the dance floor. Once the dance lessons are done they create more space between the tables. It was very fun to watch people dance as well as partake in the dancing. The drinks were really good. It's a limited menu during the live event with a set price and a 20% gratuity included on the bill. Make reservations for sure. Enjoy yourselves when you go
