Fantastic restaurant, a phenomenal place to eat. I was staying in Homewood for the first time on a recent Tahoe visit and this restaurant was very close by. They prefer you make a reservation in advance, but it doesn't seem like it's the end of the world if you don't. I actually ate here twice during the trip it was so good, and their entrees are as exceptional as their desserts. Server did a great job and the price is reasonable for the quality.

A perfect mountain restaurant... Great food, friendly people. Seafood curry medley was excellent. Souffle for dessert a must. Prime rib melted in the mouth. 4 stars for atmosphere only because it's a bit noisy.

RUSHED THROUGH DINNER! My husband and I booked this restaurant for a date night on our vacation. We looked at several different dining and activities to treat ourselves while on vacation. We had a choice of doing an earlier dinner or an 8:00pm dinner. We chose the latter. While the food was great (we loved the grilled artichoke), we were rushed through every course of our meal. We were really looking to spend our time enjoying our food and conversation. We literally went through 3.5 courses in less than an hour. I felt as though our staff wanted to get us cleared out of there by 9:00 to go home. However, everyone else who was seated outside seemed to be leisurely enjoying their experience without being rushed out the door. This was very apparent as we exited the restaurant with no patrons inside and still at minimum 10 tables outside with guests. We did not have the experience we were looking for considering the cost of our meal. If you don't want to have guests in your establishment past a certain time, don't make reservations so late or seat them outside so they can be giving the same level of service as the guests seated outside. We were both very disappointed. Also, just a side note, the soufflé tasted eggy (like they missed adding vanilla or something). I've never had one that tasted that way. I was very thankful for the sauce to cover up the flavor. The atmosphere outside is much nicer... waterfalls and lights. Inside is a little plain.

We had a reservation for 8 people and when we entered the restaurant they told us “we didn’t answer their phone call” so they gave away our reservation……unbelievable will not be going back cocky hostess with a terrible attitude.

Service was bad, Wait staff nowhere to be found. Online menu claims Friday night prime rib??? With reservation at 7pm we were told no prime rib left, only made 10 dinners because it's so expensive?? $50 for a prime rib dinner yet they cant afford to make more than 10 dinners? Disappointing to say the least!

The food was very good! Unfortunately we were still eating the appetizer when the main course was already served! What a pity! Also, my main course wasn't hot!

We had Sunday lunch here. The service (Hannah) was splendid, friendly, and prompt. The food (Reuban and BLAT sandwiches) well prepared and presented. Margaritas are too tart, but overall, this is THE best lunch place on West shore. We will be back for dinner on another day this week.

Food was amazing, service was poor unfortunately. Took about 20min or more just to order drinks and then it took about another 15 to get them. Otherwise lovely atmosphere and delicious menu!
