I've given this place several chances. I'm done. I don't get the hype. The carne asada has been tough/chewy everytime. The Chile relleno-would be a good idea not to smother it with sauce and put it in different container for to go orders, as it gets super unappetizing, soggy, floury. The rice and beans don't have much taste. Birria was tough. Also, Last time I called to order I could hear staff in background arguing.

This has become our go to Mexican restaurant on Sundays. I absolutely love that this place is family owned and when I say family owned, I mean the entire family is in the kitchen helping each other as a team. I love that the kitchen is "open" and you can see everything that's going on. My food wasn't ready when I got there last Sunday and there was this adorable girl shouting "I've got Ashley's order. I'll take it to her." Amazing customer service and the food is great too!

I ordered delivery from El Fuego's and everything was on point. I had sopes and supreme tacos with rice and beans. Great flavor and they gave a decent amount of lime wedges! I can't stand when places don't give enough for the amount of food. The food was packaged with care. Anytime I get a (real) taco craving, I will order or pick up from them.

First time visiting this establishment for a private event. I had chicken tacos with everything and beans and rice. The food was great. I could absolutely taste the freshness in the ingredients. I definitely enjoyed the spicy sauce as it delivered just the right amount of kick. The owners of the establishment were super nice and made us feel right at home. I'd 100% recommend these tacos!

Have visited this establishment twice now during our struggle with Covid19. Both times food was fresh, full of flavor, and made exactly as we asked! The first visit the portion of meat was a little bit heartier however... due to the rising cost of meat I understand the smaller amount of meat in burrito 2nd time. I fully believe they will return to their normal ways as we get farther away from Covid restrictions. The staff there were very friendly and we sat on the side of the restaurant to eat and one of the staff checked on us several times to make sure everything was tasty and get our feedback. We will definitely continue to frequent this establishment and can't wait for the time when we can return to indoor eating and have the opportunity to be able to enjoy the music and people inside to further enhance our experience! El Fuego is definitely worth your hard earned money and time!

My husband and I have been missing out! We just discovered this restaurant from the RAD Card app and ordered take out on Friday. It was AMAZING!!! I had steak nachos and he had a carne asada wet burrito. The whole time we couldn't stop raving about how great the food was and how we were shocked that we didn't know about this place sooner! The complementary chips and salsa were great too! Definitely going back again soon and making this our regular Mexican food restaurant!

Good Good Good... Good people with a smile, I was told they were a little busy and it would be a moment and it wasn't too long before my order was in hand and ready to consumption. Good food, I got exactly what I ordered without issue. You remember Bon Que Que with the complicated order bit from MADtv? Yeah that's us unfortunately. We ordered sope, burrito and quesadilla and everything was perfect. Good as in the price for made to order authentic Mexican food that meets your expectations is exactly what I want right now, unfortunately they are not open every day, but I wish they were. Looking forwarded to trying out more of the menu in the future with a Mexican Coke and a smile.

It was my first time here sadly it will be my last. My family and I came to try this place in great hopes that it would blow us away with there food, they had such great review too. We ordered a supreme burrito and a wet burrito. And the guy said he would bring chips and salsa. We sat outside and the table next to us had a bunch of leftovers just sitting there for a while that hadn't been cleaned up. There was also a big dog that was with another couple that had walked in after we sat down that was whining while we were waiting on our food. We waited A LONG TIME for the food to come. We had again asked for some chips and salsa and the young man working kept saying he would bring some out. When He finally brought the food, my husbands order was wrong it was just meat, salsa and very little rice and no beans. So I went inside to let them know and he was about to bring chips and salsa, After we get our food!?!? And my wet burrito was just mostly meat and salsa. No beans! It really sucked! The guy brings out some cheese and sour cream for us on the side and some extra chips and salsa. I had such high hopes but I'm just so disappointed in this place, the service and the food was bad. We won't be back!

The best Mexican food in Hughson, and I've tried them all many times.

This is my favorite place for chicken enchiladas with red sauce. Excellent sauce with a little tang to it, lots of white meat chicken inside. Not greasy or "mysterious." Good Mexican rice, too. Also, good veggie tacos for vegans if you tell them to hold the cheese.

Food is in the name. EL FIRE. If you love Mexican, come thru. If you love food in general, come thru. Best food, great people, good vibes. You gotta come through and get some food from them!

Good flavor but charged more for rising meat prices but didn't put hardly any meat in burrito. Less meat than normal burrito during normal times. Also charge $3.25 for an "enchilada" that was just a small rolled up taco.
