The atmosphere is great, the view is great, but the service was just ok as our server was new but we are sympathetic. The food tasted good but the value for dollar was extremely difficult to justify returning. Some of us had the Scallops meal which was 4 scallops over a little Jasmine rice with four of the skinniest asparagus spears you could possibly find. It was $36 for the scallop meal. We had to stop for fast food on the way home because many of us were still hungry, which should not happen. We did share an appetizer and still were not satisfied.

We were looking for a good seafood place near Main Street in Huntington Beach and we hit the jackpot. Five of us all with great dishes and sides. Service was top notch. Highly recommend if you want a quality sit down dinner and tired of fish tacos.

This place is awesome, I can't believe it only has 4.4 stars, it's definitely a 5*+ restaurant. The food was outstanding, the best I've had in a long time, we had surf and turf, I like my steak medium well which can be difficult sometimes but the steak was so tender, the lobster tail too. I can't recommend this place enough. The service was amazing! And you can see the beach while eating, what more could you want!
My wife and I were blown away by how good the food was. I had the swordfish, which was cooked to perfection and is one of the best seafood meals I've ever had. Just incredible. My wife had the seafood skewers and felt the same about hers. I also tried hers and it was amazing. We don't normally get dessert but our entrees were so good we agreed we also wanted to try their dessert and were equally impressed with their key lime pie. Our server was Evan and he was super attentive, gave great suggestions, and did a fantastic job. I will definitely return to BLK the next time I'm near Huntington Beach.

Beautiful view of Huntington Beach and Catalina Island from the second story of one of our favorite restaurants. Outdoor and indoor seating, perched above Pacific Coast Highway at Main Street and the pier. Wonderful food, good wine list, and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Reservations recommended. The calamari appetizer is a favorite, and the ribs are excellent. Enjoy!

Wow, a place with a beautiful view of Huntington beach. We were a big group of 60 for an office dinner. They gave us place with the beach view. I would definitely recommend this place for the following reasons1. Ambience on a nice weather day is amazing with view of beach. This is just across the road to Huntington Pier.2. Food is good and tasty.3. Service is fast and we had a great time there.

Come for the view skip on the food. I grew up in alaska and ate halibut all the time, what I ate tonight was the most questionable "halibt" I have ever had. Insanely mushy and a horrible seasoning, it tasted like it was microwaved then they soaked in lemon juice. Wife had the filet mignon, it was very flat and long for a mignon looked more like a top sirloin. The cook on it was good but it was missing flavor. Our guest got the salmon and it was ok, very very basic and lacking for the price.

It was excellent. Best ribeye I have ever had. My wife had sea bass,it was exquisite. The sides are enough for 3 or 4 people. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Staff was excellent. The owner should be very proud of what he has accomplished. The view was amazing. Will return with out a doubt.Parking: Restaurants validate up to 2 hours.
I was looking for a nicer seafood spot in Huntington Beach for my wife and I totreat my mom and my favorite cousin during a recent visit home.I knew of the restaurant but hadn't been in BLK myself, so we rolled the dice. I am so glad I did. I'm still getting compliments and thank yous!We split an excellent artichoke appetizer and everyone loved it. Off to that great start, we ordered up knife & fork salads, shrimp bisque for everyone, and then assorted seafood entrees and one steak salad. Each dish was fantastic. Mom had the scallops while I indulged in halibut with a decadent butter sauce and across from me, the cousin dined on salmon. For sides, we split mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, and asparagus. All were a big hit.We finished the meal with an excellent cremé brulee and went home very satisfied.
