This was some of the best chicken I have had in a while. Very nice atmosphere, and not too far from the shoreline.

UPDATE 11/24/2020: BRUXIE FANS TAKE NOTE! After the long CV-19 shutdown, the Bruxie locations in old town Orange on Glassell, and Brea on Birch St, have reopened for those killer Bruxie chicken sandwiches and waffles. It's possible that Huntington Beach and Santa Monica may also eventually reopen, but right now it's just Orange and Brea who are up and running with their old staff and those Bruxie classics that nobody can beat. I've tried all the chicken sandwiches out there and nothing comes close to Bruxie. I'm so glad they're back; I was really bummed out that they closed in the pandemic. If you're a Bruxie fan like me, you'll make the drive from wherever for that special experience. Welcome back Bruxie!

Medium is not spicy but the flavor is good. Spice level I would compare it to Sriracha hot sauce. I got the leg & thigh which is one piece. It's the drumstick and attached thigh area. The wait was ridiculously long (3.5 hours on a Sunday) but the people were so friendly that i couldn't be upset.

My boyfriend and I both got the slider/tender combo and it was amazing!! Best chicken spot I've ever been to. The flavor is spot on, heat was definitely there and the slider with the slaw, pickles and sauce OMG was fire!!!! Will definitely be back!! Thanks for the great food!!

I am giving them 5 stars for the waffle and 3.5 star for the chicken as it was not a thick piece of chicken. The food is good and prices are great over all a great place to stop by and enjoy a cheat meal. It's def a 5 star place but my only suggestion is they make the chicken thicker.

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. The staff also wear gloves. There are no hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some outdoor seating available with limited capacity. They are also sanitizing in between customers. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago after visiting the beach, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment.Parking: Parking can be a bit of a pain here at Huntington Beach. So in order to get to Bruxie, there is garage parking or street parking. You have to pay for both, but street parking is cheaper if you can find any. Bruxie is super popular, so come right when they open or before they close to find parking. Food: Omg. Their food is to die for. Seriously. It's like Roscoe's chicken and waffle, but in sandwich form. Seriously. So yummy. Staff: Everyone is super nice and helpful in giving me suggestions on which sandwich/food to get.

Cool concept! Love Mac and cheese waffle. Wish I could've tried salmon before they discontinued it.

This place is obviously one of the finest place to eat in the area. Always when I visit this place I am incredibly glad. They always keep their very high level service and the topmost level of food they serve. You can never go wrong with this place. Very recommended.

It's waffles, chicken, and chicken & waffles. They have a bunch of waffle centric stuff on the menu, mostly savory but do have some sweet options as well. Moderately priced but that's to be expected as waffles typically aren't the cheapest meal in the world. I suspect it's due to the clean up. Have you ever made waffles at home? It makes a god awful mess. Believe me, you're better off dropping a few bucks and letting them clean up. I had the strawberry creme brûlée waffle and it was quite tasty; sweet, fresh and had that nice sugary brûlée crunch.

HAVE to get the spicy chicken waffle sandwich. It’s definitely a bit messy to eat, but that’s what these hands are for! Also, decided to try the dessert one which surprisingly we were a little hesitant about, but it ended up being delicious as well

My wife & I use to love Bruxies, especially because of the view with the open window. Food was amazing. I would always order their spicy chicken waffle sandwich. I haven't came in about a year and a half. I came about 3 weeks ago with my wife. We were searching for their spicy chicken waffle sandwich got 5 minutes trying to figure out which one was the spicy Nashville sandwich we grew to enjoy. We eventually gave up and asked the employee. He said they don't carry it anymore. What?!? How?!? Why?!? Anyways, I was pretty disappointed but I knew their chicken would still be good no matter what. I ordered their 4x chicken strips combo and my wife ordered a chicken waffle sandwich (Don't remember which one). Their chicken strips were the size of a chicken nugget from McDonalds except hard and dry. The waffle fries were cold. My wife's chicken from her waffle sandwich was small as well. The fried chicken use to be bigger than the waffle sandwich. What changed?!? I'm not one to complain to a manager and say I want my money back or can I have something else. I decided to just eat my food and forget about. This place definitely changed. I have (or had) such enjoyable memories of Bruxies, but specifically this location, for the dates my wife and I had here, but the food has declined drastically. Not sure what has happened throughout the years, but in an age where chicken sandwiches have become superior throughout the recent years (especially with Nashville chicken sandwiches), Bruxies needs to step their game up.

I enjoyed the food. Had a sausage waffle sandwich that was great, tried the waffle fries which were top notch. Friends enjoyed their food too (mac 'n cheese, spicy chick sandwich etc). Not sure which app my friend used or if Bruxie has it's own delivery but the food came cold and was missing an item from the order. It would have been way better hot. Good food. If I try it again it'll be in the restaurant.

I heard a lot about this place and finally got to try it, it was delicious! We ordered the original sandwich with the coleslaw on the side. The waffle was thinner than I imagined it would be but it went perfectly well with the crispy juicy chicken. The ladies were very nice in helping us choose the sauces (we got ranch and honey mustard) and checking up on us. There's seating on the inside and outside, with a very clean environment. My only tip here would be don't share! Order one for yourself and you don't regret it. Can't wait to be back!

Great location in downtown Huntington Beach, Ca. You can eat and people watch at the same time which is always fun. The food is pretty good but expensive. Everything is made with waffles and has a unique twist on the norm. Service is ok... a bunch of young kids who don't really know what customer service is yet.
