Came to Carlitos because of all the great reviews however I experienced something completely different. First off that Posole is so spicy it was hard to enjoy and when I asked the server about it after having two bites. She said yes the Posole is spicy, wish I would have known before I ordered it. It doesn't say it anywhere on the menu. The service was quick but attitude was short from friendly. It was clear she didn't want to be there. This place also very overpriced. Needless to say it was my first time here and won't be coming back

Just made a review about the drinks and how they barely fill them up and charge 5 dollars for a large drink. I finish my drink and I always eat the ice and I see 2 black things in there. I pull out the ice and there's bugs on the ice. I was once a loyal customer but I'm rethinking of coming back

My wife and I order from here pretty regularly. I mostly get the Posole, but everything I have tried has been delicious. If your looking for Mexican food in HB, can't go wrong stopping by here! And the staff is always super friendly.

Yummy Mexican food. Mini crispy tacos are perfect! Every time I order from Carlitos it is delicious and this is one of my go to spots when I need a crispy taco fix! Breakfast burritos are yummy too!

Bought a asada burrito, 1 fish taco, and a medium menudo and was charged $30. The serving sizes are ridiculously small and I was overcharged. Sad to say but I would not recommend. Also the Soup we purchased smelled and tasted like sink water. Gross The burrito was supposed to have beans and rice and cheese but was filled mainly with poorly seasoned meat. Not good when all you taste is meat and tortilla. The fish taco did not have any sauce and I think this is where they pull all my sides because it was overstuffed with everything it was inedible.
The service was top-notch. We did not get the Menudo or pozole that this place is known for, but the crunchy tacos are also supposed to be good (which the other people in our party got and said were delicious) and I had the quesadilla. Would definitely come back to this hole-in-the-wall.

Came here for the taco Tuesday special. We ordered 3 shredded beef and 3 shredded chicken jr tacos since they were under $2 each. Decent size for a jr, loaded with lettuce and cheese. Meat was tasty, salsa was good. We preferred the chicken over the beef.Lots of choices of other items including sandwiches, smash burgers and more Mexican food. Close to work so this was easy!
