I met my birth Dad and half sister! I know this seems unrelated but it's not. They flew into SNA on the last flight of the evening and were starved. I wanted to impress them but also be close to home but nothing was open! Dang sleepy town of HB. But The Corner was so we got there and ordered some drinks and food. Quotes of the night: "Fancy" - my birth dad. "I want to go to the beach tomorrow" - my half sister "This is walking distance from my house!" - me Food was delicious. Server was charming. And I impressed my (other) dad.

Hidden gem! Cocktails, food, service... wow! I cannot wait to be back. Order the everything taco, it's not on the menu but trust me, it won't disappoint. Also friends are MUST have!

The short rib Tacos are a go to for me every time, the bacon wrapped dates are another must have, and the braised short ribs are a big hit as well...

The hype is real - this place has amazing food, 4/4 or 5/5, all the dishes are very very well done and I'm surprised. The 48h fries are literally made in a unique fridge/frozen manner that makes them extra crispy and the two dipping sauces is great. Butter Garlic Chicken comes with 3 small taco tortillas, blue corn? fajita style. The chicken is SUPER MOIST and pulls apart with your utensils, and it is as good or better than it looks. The braised short rib tastes great, a bit dark which is what you want, texture and flavor is great, goes super well with the mashed potato type of thing it comes with... it's a little heavy so even though it may look small if you get fries and something else I think it should be fine! Although the chicken is my favored item now that I tried it most recently. Drinks are good, not much of an alcohol person but dark and stormy tastes nice with the ginger beer. Tried a few others and other people seem to appreciate these as well.

I went into this place with high expectations. I was recommended this place by my girlfriend and thought we could have a nice time out. The menu seemed decently priced and I ordered a burger which was a little bit better than a fast food Wendy's sandwich. My girlfriend ordered the gnocchi Mac and cheese, and it didn't come out until I had already finished my burger. The owner came out to check on us and seemed concerned that we hadn't received our entree but not enough to take it off the check. When the Mac n cheese finally arrived it had 9 noodles in the pan making a KFC Mac n cheese a better option. For 13 dollars, you would expect more than 3 bites, and we unfortunately both left the restaurant still hungry. The food is decent but the price and service aren't worth the experience. I've never left a yelp review, but I was so puzzled after that experience I thought I would share. 1 star and if there was a choice for 0, that would be my selection. Avoid at all costs !

Such a hidden gem. Great seasonal menu, great service, not overpriced, great ambiance. What more can you say? Don't skip the 48 hr fries, tartare tostadas or bacon wrapped dates. You can't go wrong with any of their desserts and the mezcal cocktail.

Had the Reuben; it sucked. The rye was toasted not grilled, and the sabdwich was lught on corned beef, 1000 Island and taste.

Braised short rib was really tender. Ditto for the short rib tacos. Fries were crispy and seasoned well.

Such a great local spot! Love its small business feel and Chris, the owner, is invested in his food, his customers and his business. A little hoity-toity, but what Chef isn't?

Arrived at 6:00 on a Thursday night, there was no one up front to greet us or take us to a table. Waited for about 5 minutes and decided to seat ourselves in the bar. Took another 5 minutes for the waiter to even acknowledge us sitting there, he walked by like 3 times. Finally came over and took our drink and appetizer order. For the 48 hour fries, bland at best. Like $14.00 for a child's size serving of fries with ketchup and another nasty sauce. Drinks were quite expensive as well! Dinner was mediocre. Tried to flag down the waiter for over 10 minutes to even get a water refill. He never cleaned our table after we were finished eating. When we did get his attention and asked for more water, he literally said 'Oh, I thought you were leaving!' Really? That's not a remark to make to paying guests! Needless to say, I won't go back. Food is overpriced, service is bad and food portion is quite small for price!

Very creative menu that includes small plates and entrees. AMAZING classic cocktails, and service that makes you feel like you're famous and important! Locally owned and operated too.
