My Hawaiian friend vetted this place, so you know it's good. We tried the chicken, shrimp platter, and poke. The spicy garlic poke has a bit of a kick to it and is very flavorful. Skip the octopus side unless you're a big fan of ginger. There are only two benches outside to dine at but the setting definitely fits the island vibe that the restaurant has. Enjoy!

Wow. that's one word to describe it. The staff is incredible. I always see the same girl and she's so sweet. The food is absolutely incredible and the poke is so fresh. my favorite place ever

Very tiny quick service restaurant with no indoor seating only two outdoor picnic tables. Lots of take out orders, we ordered the loco moco patty rice plate with egg for $15.50, a little on the salty side but patty and egg with rice had nice flavors. Waited about 10 minutes in the car with plenty of parking.

The food was rated 2 Stars. I gave this restaurant 3-Stars due to the pleasant lady taking orders. We tried this place due to the high reviews from Hawaiian food in Huntington Beach. Didn't care for the macaroni potato salad. Had better Hawaiian fried chicken. For 2 plates, a total of five pieces of chicken with bone in was $40 so rather expensive and didn't meet the taste expectations as others reviewed.

Just order with my family and was kind of disappointing . I order the garlic shrimp with chicken combo, loco moco, and the poke bowl. The combo was disappointing because it wasn't even extra spicy like I order, the loco moco was so dry couldn't even eat it, and the poke was the best thing out there. I wouldn't recommend going here, and I would only come back for the poke itself. Overall, you have a better chance to go L&L or Hawaiian ono for cook food.

The garlic chili peppa chicken was so good! *chefs kiss* this restaurant felt like a true Hawaiian kitchen with its unassuming store front with fantastic food. We placed a phone order and it was ready in 10 minutes! Highly recommend

Food is great and portions are filling. Both times I have gone I was greeted with a smile.

We saw this place and stopped by to try. It's a very small interior and the only available seating are two wooden tables and benches outside. The menu is great - we got the chicken platter and the poke bowl. The poke bowl was so good and the chicken was good as well - the chicken was crisp and juicy. Service was very friendly.

Aloha everyone, I know it's one of the last places you'd think of to get it, but we ordered fried chicken from Da Hawaiian Kitchen in Huntington Beach. Get ready for a walk on the wild side, because you've never had something like this! This unassuming place is tucked away next to a local target, and it is THE definition of a hole in the wall. If you're looking for the best Hawaiian takeout of your life, please give this place a try. Josh and I both ordered this crazy chili peppa chicken, it was nonstop flavor. I took one bite, and I tasted something so satisfying that I really just couldn't handle it. The flavor and texture combined together to give a sweet, savory, and spicy symphony that I've never had before. Somehow it tasted familiar, but completely new at the same time. I'm having trouble with words because it's almost indescribable. I also got these korean-style short ribs that really hit the spot. And check this out. I'm crazy. I'm stacking it up and mmmmm! Oh, we forgot to mention that the plates come with the Hawaiian plate lunch obligatory white rice and mac salad. And this mac salad does NOT play around. We're talking hit after hit. Please do yourself a favor and get over here!

The chicken was juicy with a crispy crust. I thought it was slightly too saucy for my taste. Wish we couldve tried the poke but it was sold out. Staff is friendly. Menu slightly confusing. This is a to-go place only, no seating area inside. There are two tables outside restaurant if you want to eat right away. Restaurant is in same plaza as Target. Plenty of parking.

Great takeout food every time we have had it. The only thing that tastes like authentic Hawaiian food we have found since moving back to the mainland. 10/10

The fried chicken is outstanding. Yet to try the shrimp, lau lau, and poke. But when the menu items predominantly include fried chicken with or without bones or fried chicken wings you better be ordering some chicken. It's fried to crispy perfection and your choice of sauce will elevate it to Da kine Hawaiian style grinds. Alongside rice and Mac salad, this plate lunch combo I had with kalbi ribs took me back to the islands. This establishment is a friendly hole in the wall full of Polaroid pics of happy customers with menus all around. No seating inside just a couple picnic benches outside. The cashier is well versed in the menu offerings and happy to take your order. Just give it a few minutes and your beeper will notify you when your order is ready.

This used to be my go to spot, but the service now is unacceptable. I will not be going here anymore and they just lost a customer that has been loyal to them for all these years. I placed an order today for a shrimp plate which is $20 and after getting home I discovered that it leaked out of their box and bag and made a mess on my car's carpet . I called to let the worker know and she was not helpful with getting me a reimbursement. You would think that for a $20 shrimp plate and being a loyal customer to them for all these years they would be helpful.

Food da bomb, best chicken in HB. This place puts Korean fried chicken spot to shame. Service is A1 and the pricing is reasonable compared to other chicken spots

Perhaps the spam masubi and poki bowls are not their specialty. My spicy tuna was drenched in sauce, and not in a good way. I mean, there was some tuna and mostly sauce. The squid didn't taste fresh and the spam masubi lacked flavor.
