Wife and I wanted to try something different in downtown. So we went into dos toros this afternoon for lunch. Ordered chips and salsa and guac. Had a couple beers then ordered a salad (bbq chicken) and burrito(carne asada and shrimp). Food was good. Salad actually didn’t have the chicken on it but was still plenty good and so we didn’t even mention it to the sever. Enjoyed this place. Wasn’t bursting at the seams with ppl and was great to sit at the window ledge and watch folks while eating. Will definitely come back.

I went with a group of girls. We were all disappointed . The food was extremely tasteless. I will never eat there again and never refer the establishment to anyone. We had a very pleasant waiter who made the stay manageable. Thank you Jason. Otherwise the whole experience would of been horrible...just like the food.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. Got the Cadillac Margarita, chips, salsa, and guacamole, all of which were average.

TWO STARS for the server who was friendly and on it...other than that the food was the worse I have ever had....I have had better Taquitos at 7 -11 not sure what kind of meat was in them...my husband got the chicken tacos ...the chicken was white chunks ....possibly canned? Not sure but it was disgusting....great location, nice big bar and restaurant.... but really how can you go wrong with Mexican food either step it up or give it up.

This place is right on the main strip of Huntington Beach so it's exactly what you would except. A little over priced, I got a beer and some nachos here. The nachos were okay - very soggy and we just got a Stella in a bottle. The service was okay, we were not given silverware. The patio is nice but again you're right on the main strip with a lot of people.

We've been to this place in the past and in the FAR past it was better, however we noticed that it gradually became worse and worse in service, hygiene and... everything! But today was the last straw. :( I would like to start with the place itself. We sat outside. Ah... The tables are peeling and all covered in dirty spots. Dirty dishes are left piling up on them, trash is left on the tables... used napkins flying with the wind, there was trash on the ground under the tables everywhere... Can't help but wonder how's their kitchen... We went for dinner. We sat ourselves outside in hope that someone will come to take our order. And we waited... And waited... for about half an hour. Servers were serving tables around us, but NOBODY ACKNOWLEDGED our presence, NOBODY came to ask whether we want to place an order. At one point my husband decided to go inside and check what's going on. He came back with a beer and informed me that the bartender, a young dark haired girl is serving both the bar and some customers around. He said that they are likely understaffed. My husband ordered our dinner himself at the bar as well. OK, we decided to show understanding. And we waited more... And more... And more... At some point that same dark haired girl came to our table as my husband finally got her attention waiving like crazy... :( We ordered one more beer. The beer was never brought to us. No water, no utensils, simply NOTHING! We must've been dead or invisible to them. Finally our dinner arrived, but still NO utensils. No water either... We told the person to bring utensils and he said he will. And he didn't. So, now we had the food, but no forks. At that point I went inside. There at the bar I spoke with a pretty rude bartender (late 30s-early 40s) dressed all in black with black baseball hat. The dark haired girl was there, too. The bartender told me that we (meaning us two) "don't have a waiter" and we have to order our food at the bar. On my observation that everybody else around is served but US, he said that all people came inside to order. NOT TRUE AT ALL! We made it a goal to observe the tables next to us. Their server, a male in his late 20s came to take their order, and he came at least 2 more times to apologize to them that their food is late. He served the table next to us and the table behind us, but not us. We must've been his table, because I know how tables are scheduled and organized in the restaurant industry. Then it occurred to me: we were only 2 people. That's why we were NOT INTERESTING to them and DEAD. :( They did not think we will spend much money and they simply decided to pretend we don't exist. So, folks: don't bring your boyfriend/girlfriend here, because this place does not serve single people or couples. If you decide to stop by, you should be at least 4 people, because otherwise you will NOT EAT AND DRINK. Oh, and the hygiene and service... Please, look above. :( Needless to say, we're never going there again.

Can't help but wonder how dirty might their kitchen be and whether it is safe to eat there, especially in this dangerous COVID situation. We went for dinner. Good food a bit salty, but good, located in an excellent area and it is kids friendly during day time...

BEWARE! Our normal $25 dinner with 2 margaritas is now $64. The margaritas had the punch of a glass of water. If you want chips and salsa with your meal that is now an extra $2. The service was ridiculously slow. The prices are too high. We always try to eat locally to support out businesses but we'll be going elsewhere from now on. The restaurant next door has excellent food and still has their Happy Hour menu unlike Dos Toros.

Love this place, come here every time I'm down in Huntington Beach. Today my server was Dan and he was amazing! He suggested the nachos but when the runner brought them out they were burnt. So he apologized and brought me a yummy tostada. And we did a Mexican candy shot together! Great server great place! And they make a yummy watermelon margarita.

Terrible service was trying to order a drink for myself and food for my girlfriend and bartender did not wanna serve me being very rude for no reason accusing of drinking too much when I just got there didn't even order a drink do not recommend going to this place very rude staff will take my money elsewhere

This place has 3 stars for a reason lol I'm still surprised it has that many. We came here for a drink and they couldn't even get that right. The margaritas are terrible so we closed out after that one margarita at the bar and decided to move to a table outside. Thinking MAYBE we'll try out the food. The bartender said seat yourself and a server will help you. That never happened. We actually didn't see anyone for an hour so we walked back inside to tell the bartender we haven't been helped and all she said was "oh I'm sorry" no sympathy at all or even tried fixing the problem and send a server outside. We decided not to eat here. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. GO TO SUSHI ON FIRE NEXT DOOR :)

Seat yourself, solid service, solid food! TVs at every table and lots of sports playing. No complaints, no high praise. Overall, I'm sure you'd have a great time. We might be back when we're in the area, especially for the pina colada margarita!
