Pamela and her team have been amazing ever since their last location and I’m so happy to see they found a new home in such a lovely location! Their tea selection is amazing, and I appreciate their shoppe having lots of treats from Europe.

We dined here for HIgh Tea. The tea room is located in Old World in Huntington Beach and such a cute and quaint Village of European shops and restaurants as well as apartments above the businesses. Pamela's tea room had high tea options as well as a regular British themed menu. The high tea was one of the best. Hearty tea sandwiches (you have your choice of fillings. We chose the salmon, egg salad, chicken cashew and tuna chutney) many selections for tea but we went with Pamela's blend which went perfect with our food. You are served your own sandwiches but we shared the combo of our choices. The scones were amazing. Apologize for no pics, but we started eating and catching up before I even thought about taking pics. Atmosphere is super cute too. A little shopping area is located in the back with a variety of treats from British candy to season packets for shepherd's pie. Gluten free and other dietary restrictions can be made at the time if your reservation. Come check it out!

We asked our server if they happened to have a selection of white teas and were met with a blank stare. Yes, it is odd that a person working in a tea shop doesn't know what white tea is, but that isn't the reason for this one star review. Our server seemed to take the fact that she had just been confronted with the mere existence of white tea personally, and instead of simply stating, "I apologize, we do not carry any white teas," she instead attempted to convince us white tea isn't a thing in Britain.... I really wish I could say I was making this up. That should have been the moment we got up and left. But we didn't. Perhaps it was a certain morbid curiosity that kept me in my place, because it isn't often I find myself in the presence of a person petty enough to try and convince an entire table of first generation British immigrants that none of the British isles, in all their centuries of plundering northeast India for spices, had ever come across white tea before. Not more than a few minutes later, we asked for a few ice cubes for our kids (aged 3 and 6), since they prefer cold beverages, and, once again, instead of simply stating "I apologize, we don't have an ice maker," our server chose to take this simple request as a personal insult, and tried to convince us that in a country full of 67 million tea drinkers, not a single one of them has ever tried it with ice. It was after this moment that our server inexplicably refused to interact with us for the rest of the afternoon, going far out of her way to avoid eye contact with us while serving other customers, all the while very loudly asking her Irish coworker whether white tea or ice in tea were things in Britain, a childishly obvious ploy to seek affirmation and cover for the fact that she simply just didn't know what white tea was. But if our server ends up reading this review, allow me to educate you further on what aren't things in Britain: 1) the British don't serve bags of black Lipton tea still sitting in the pot long after it has sufficiently steeped, 2) the British don't use cool whip in cucumber sandwiches, 3) the British don't use Oroweat brand bread on one half of their tea sandwiches with wonder brand white bread on the other half, with little corners of crust cut into the sandwich, 4) the British don't try to pass Smucker's strawberry jelly off as jam, and they don't try to pass butter off as cream, and 5) when British tea houses charge you 140 American dollars to enjoy a light lunch and afternoon tea, you're typically paying for fresh leaves and baked goods, not five dollars worth of ingredients you scraped together from walmart. I'm something of a connoisseur when it comes to bad filmmaking. I love participating in schadenfreude, laughing at the perfect blend of cluelessness and incompetence, paired with the bewildering defensiveness these certain creators have toward their hilariously sub-standard products. If there is an equivalent type of restaurant-goer comprable to this kind of movie-goer, then Pamela's Tea House is your Plan 9 From Outer Space. 5/5, superbly bad service.

Wow! My grandmothers favorite place to go for tea, my nana is from England and this definitely made her feel less home sick. The staff here are so sweet and attentive, the food was delicious. The space is very well decorated and the tea tasted perfect. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone who wants to feel fancy and also classy. Keep up the great work of Pamela's tea room :)

Absolutely fabulous experience per usual. I had gone several times when they were at their previous location, but this location just adds to the complete overall experience of having high tea. As usual, the food was outstanding, and we can't even use a star rating on the tea since it is absolutely perfect every time. Many to choose from, and they definitely know how to steep it and serve it to your table properly. I also purchased the tea that I tried, which was called Christmas in a cup. The service was fantastic. The ladies are amazing and the atmosphere just screams British tea. Can't wait till my next visit.

I was so disappointed and embarrassed. I drove up from San Diego to pick up a friend in Westminster who lives near Old World Village where the tea room is located. My friend had never been to a tea room. I've been to several in San Diego County. First, I was shocked when little tea pots were served with tea bags in them. I've always had fresh brewed in a tea room. My friend and I decided upon the pasties, potatoes and peas. It left me totally speechless when the owner came to our time with 3 frozen pasties to show us our choices. I could not even think to say I did not drive up from San Diego for frozen food. I just kept saying to my friend I've never seen anything like that happen. A cheap dive diner would not bring frozen food to your table. I was too shocked to even put money on the table and leave. The pasties were dry. If people in Orange County feel like driving and want to go to really lovely tea rooms, then drive to the Grand Tea Room in Escondido, or Aubrey Rose Tea Room in La Mesa. Both feel like actual tea rooms and the food is excellent. I won't go back to Pamela's again. She may be British but she does not run an authentic tea room.

Love this place! They accommodated a last minute bear impossible party when we realized another place we boomed had closed down. Give them notice fir dietary restrictions but even that, they were so kind and accepting and flexible. Great store hiding in the back with lots of UK grocery imports as welk that are normally hard to find.

It’s a quaint little tea house. Very inviting and with a store in back where you can shop for all sorts of goodies, both food and drinks plus Knick Knacks.Personally I was so happy to see that it’s owned by Pamela who I have known for a long time but lost contact with her when the pandemic hit.Vegetarian options: The scones, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich and the salad.Parking: Lots of parking space but can be a bit hard to get one on the weekends and there was a craft show going on too.Kid-friendliness: We had a 7 year old with us and they thought he was a well behaved little gentleman and told him so. They had a Princess/Prince tea that he got and he ate every bite.

The food was wonderful, however, the service was just so-so. We got there at 2:00 we were supposed to get there at 1:30 but per the restaurants request were asked to push it back to 2pm so another birthday party could wrap up, we were asked about tea around 2:45 pm but didn't get tea until 3:00. We ordered our food and received it pretty late around 3:30 - 3:45 pm. I didn't know the restaurant was supposed to close at 4:00 pm. However I was pretty shocked when at 4:40 pm the owner came up and said "please leave" I thought she was kidding but no, she was drop dead serious. We still hadn't even received our final bill nor were all the presents unwrapped. We hastily paid our bill and then unwrapped the rest of the birthday gifts outside. So, while the food was good, service and manners were the worst I've had at any tea house.

I attended my sister's PRIVATE baby shower 8/13/23 @ 11-1pm . For starters they sat a table during our private party. We were seated in this bootleg unfinished room with no air conditioning while you're drinking cheap hot tea. There were two dusty fans to accommodate 20 people. We were served 1 sandwich (wonder bread size loaf with crust cut off) 2 scones ( biscuits in my opinion) that didn't taste fresh and were served at the end, along with a salad and potato chips. Let's just say it was a snack not lunch. Most people left hungry. They didn't accommodate dietary restrictions which were given prior. This meant one of the guest was missing half of her snack. There were paper napkins and plastic cups for water. Compared to most tea houses i would rate this a 2 out of 10 (10 being the highest) DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! G-H-E-T-T-O

I've been coming here since I was a little girl and it's hands-down one of my favorite places! The owners are absolutely incredible. If you get the chance to stop by, suggested you do so! Incredible quality food and amazing ownership.

Send my wife and daughter here for a quick little something special for the 2 of them. A high tea to be exact. They lived the atmosphere and the food was great. The teas were amazing as well. They had a great time there, and plan on coming back. Thanks
