Had great expectations that I had found a place that makes Huli Huli chicken like they do in Hawaii. Thought the solid 4 star rating was a good indicator. Ordered the Huli chicken plate to go. HUGE portion. Enough to feed 4 or 5 people. But I think therein lies the problem. It must have been old chicken as when we went to eat it , it was salty, chewy, and had no real Huli-Huli flavor. I have never had fast food chicken thigh meat from a restaurant that was this chewy. Only gave two stars for the huge portion and good service, or would have given one star.

This place could win an award for the worst food in OC. If you purchase here and find it inedible, the owner will not refund or replace your meal. Steer clear of this establishment!

The only things I liked here were the chicken and macaroni salad. Everything else was a huge disappointment, mainly the fried chicken. I do not recommend it. The chicken was very greasy and not crispy at all. It was actually strange. It was very flaky and when you picked it up, the flakes would fall down like snow. Eating it was a similar experience. The flakes would fall on my tongue before I could even take a bite. It was a gross experience. The beef that we got was also very tough and hard to chew. My sister got a burger that she said was not very good. I will say a plus is that the portions are huge. One combo plate can feed 2-3 people. The chicken was excellent so if I ever returned, I would just get a plate of that and some rice.

This place is the best. Giant servings . And very tasty food . Hawaiian traditional style . Great macaroni salad . We had a mahi mahi sandwich . The other item is the Huli combo . Korean short ribs , teriyaki beef and chicken . So much food . We ate it for 2 meals. So good . They have loco moco . Steamed cabbage too.

This is our favorite neighborhood hawaiian spot to come to. Its located across the street from Marina High School by the UPS store, on the opposite side of Flame Broiler and its closed on Sundays. I've come here a handful of times and really enjoy ordering their mouth watering, huli cut BBQ combo because it comes loaded with hawaiian short ribs, chicken and beef, with white rice and a big scoop of macaroni salad - I've never been hungry after picking up an order from Huli Cut! Is an awesome finner for for two! I also really like their spam musubi and my daughter is a fan of their chicken musubi without sauce. Almost every time that I've come here, I've called to order ahead and my order has always been ready when I've come to pick it up, and the server behind the counter is always friendly, too. Their food is so unique and mouth watering, I can't wait for my next Hawaiian food craving.

Their menu has plenty of food choices - this place is sure to please a family with people who have different cravings, or perfect for the single person to pick up one meal for now and another meal for later. I've gone to this restaurant a handful of times now and I've been more than pleased each time I've gone. I really love their chicken musubi and the Hulu BBQ combo. The amount of food portions this place serves is pretty awesome, the Hulu bbq combo has been loaded up with tons of meat, rice and macaroni salad, each time we've ordered it. The spam musubi is just the right size as well - not too much rice or spam either. We usually order (2) spam musubis, (4) chicken musubis without teriyaki sauce and the Huli cut combo for a little over $30, which is such a steal, especially taking into consideration the large serving sizes that this place serves! The restaurant is pretty well organized and laid out for the size that it is and the service is on point, courteous and friendly. Every time I've placed an order for pickup, the food has been promptly ready on time, just as estimated by the employees -awesome! I can't wait til my next Hawaiian food craving hits so I can explore some more of the menu here and have my favorite, another chicken musubi!

Oh my goodness this place is wonderful! Delicious Hawaiian food, good price, and good portions! The staff were really nice too. I love the chicken katsu with mac salad and rice, and they also have fried chicken and boba tea.

I order a taro boba slush today and it was terrible. It just an ice blended with very little of taro powder. I dont taste anything at all from my drink. with the same amout you spend you can get a better drink at another place

I've been here twice now and it's still a mess. The dining area hasn't been swept all day and on a hot day, the temp inside must be in the 80's. My shoes stick to the floor everywhere I walk and it always looks like they're not ready for customers. I would hope they would attempt a little house keeping. The gentleman in the back at least thanked me for my business.
