Went around dinner time on Saturday night. It wasn’t too busy. They seated us right away. Very lovely atmosphere. Greeter and our server were very friendly. The food was amazing! We ordered the salmon delight roll and the balboa roll. I’m usually not a sushi person not that ambitious but decided to give it a try and they did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend eating here and would come back again if I’m in the area. Although one tiny gripe was my friend said the wasabi was alittle weak. Other than that everything else was great.

We easily made reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn’t too busy at all and we were given direct attention from the waiter/waitress. The food was actually really good and a wide drink menu. Definitely get the baos, some of the fluffiest bao buns I have had!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner and loved it! I had the grilled peach old fashioned which was really tasty & fun that they smoke it at the table for you. We also had the pork belly buns and pork belly fried rice which we'd highly recommend! They were very flavorful with a beautiful presentation as well! It was pretty slow for a Friday night...seems this restaurant hasn't gotten proper attention potentially with being tucked away in the corner of Pacific City! The external appearance isn't much, but beautiful entry way and elegant cherry blossom tree in middle of restaurant. We may sit by the sushi chefs next time since the vibe and style in there seemed more lively and modern!

I went here yesterday for my birthday party of around 20 people and everyone including me LOVED it here. Our server (Karissa!!) was the absolute sweetest and helped me set up and everything. We had majority of the room booked out with the cherry tree and the ambience was beautiful. We took so many good photos. Food came out within minutes of us ordering from the beautiful and clear set menu. The food was also AMAZINGG and everyone ate it all, if we didn't finish it, we took it home! Overall Kai is gorgeous and delicious, it wasn't cold despite the winter weather bearing down. They were super helpful with the cake cutting too. Would 100% recommend to eat here for big parties, and just regular dine in too! My mom and I did eat here just the two of us when we were getting all of the details sorted out and everything went just as perfect. Thank you Kai!
