The only complaint is that although this place has a wheelchair ramp..the wheels get stuck at the door…embarrassing to have 2 people have to push.

The food and drinks are excellent. Service is one of the best along with the right kind of attitude. Everyone is welcome and made to feel at home. Can't be beat. They like seniors also.

La Capilla is a local favorite that has service and ambiance that is a throw back to an earlier era, where all the good nostalgic memories of going to the fancy Mexican restaurant, are rekindled. The food selections run the gamet of Mexican cuisine choices - and the bar serves great choices often Margaritas, mixed drinks, and the beer selections are plentiful. It is a great choice amongst a rich number of choices of Mexican food in the downtown Huntington Beach area.

I am a gringo Carnitas Lover, so when I went to La Capilla while visiting in Huntington Beach CA. Carnitas is what I got ! I was hoping it would be good. It was in fact some of the Best Carnitas I have ever had in 63 years. It was fantastic, I have been back to Huntington Beach four times in the last six months and La Capilla is always a stop I make, and have gotten Carnitas every time. Funny thing is there was a sister La Capilla very close to where I grew up in Torrance CA. I never knew it.

My family and I love coming here. Food is always good and the service is awesome and quick. There are always people around that help out. The restaurant is always clean! I can't forget to mention the michelada's are yummy and huge!

Worst margaritas ever! I had an allergic reaction to the alcohol they used in the margaritas. The shrimp cocktail was awful. It was half cooked shrimp marinated in tomato sauce. Unfortunate, as I thought the food would be as good as the cute little presentation of the restaurant in atmosphere. Was really disappointed.

First off I ordered the menudo. Said hominy and tripe. There was 3 pieces of hominy and the rest was tripe. It was not even in a red menudo broth. Not what I grew up with. My bad. But the worst part is I dropped my AirPods out of my purse where I was sitting. We were with a party of over 30. In the back section. When I picked up my purse to leave it must have fallen out without me realizing it. When I got home that's when I noticed. I called but they didn't answer their phone. It was past 9:00. I called today. Manager said was not there. Even though my Find my AirPods said they were. How much stuff could have been on the floor? No kids just adults and they made the tables special to accommodate over 30 people. He was aggravated talking to me. I was putting him out. Why? How can there be pretty much one thing on the floor and as they moved the tables out to put back nobody saw my AirPods in this leather case? It wasn't like the tables were always that way. Someone picked them up and I guess waiting for me to give up. His answer. "They are probably in the dumpster". No way. I will keep trying. See if it moves locations. But I Will never go there again. Unless I go for my AirPods. I will update if it changes.
