I have mixed thoughts here. Food: Food was good, but the chicken was over BBQd and had char or was chewy. The short ribs and large ribs were top-tier. Would go back for these. Ordering: We like to compare online prices to the actual menu. If the menu is the same price as online, we will order online and then go pick it up. When we compared it to the online service - it was more for both delivery and pick-up. So, we decided to drive over and order in person. We put in our order and the person told us 20 minutes. After 45 minutes, we were given our order with no apology. For the extended wait and the dry chicken, I dropped my rating to a 4.

Unfortunately for us the food was not great. Specifically the chicken. The ribs with bone were pretty good. Also the portion was disappointing for the price. We ordered the family meal and it was for maybe 2 people tops. The Dole whip was good.

Ribs barely had any meat- and whatever was actually on there was mostly fat. Extremely oily. Musubi had way too much rice and barely any spam. Manapua had a hot bun but the meat inside was cold. Had high hopes since we love the one in Vegas. ??????

Sad to say being Samoan! But this was trash! Literally just warmed up my ribs, plus musubi sucked and the Manapua was cold inside the meat the bun was hot but meat was cold! How that happen? Idk. Bad experience.

Great meal! Ordered the Beef Rib plate and it was terrific. For the price, that's an awesome value - 3 tasty beef ribs, a couple scoops of sticky rice, and a salad. Friendly service. Low key, but already want to go back! Also - Dole Whip!

The best, most flavorful beef and chicken plate I have ever had. You can tell they do not use cheap cut of beef, it was very tender, and the chicken was so soft, almost like shredded chicken. Amazing place!

I got the food to go. For me I felt like the chicken and short ribs were a little too sweet and the Mac salad lacked a little more flavor and tang. I wish the grub hub website was more clear on what came with the the combo foods, rice and/or Mac salad. I paid extra for Mac salad not knowing it was coming with Mac salad already and ended up with no rice.

I went in today I ordered a number 1 and a number 7.i walked in no one was there just me then five people right behind walked in I had ordered first, then the next people, I was the last one to get my food, so I was waiting patiently didn't mind as I thought they were busy, which they weren't because whoever was managing the register was just being straight up bossy to one of his coworkers and not helping out just being a straight up mean, and whoever was working tonight they were messing around , not the usual nice people I always see, as I get home I opened my order this is how my ordered looked when I got home not he usual and where is the meat, this crew you had tonight on 3/24/2024 at like 630pm was not it.
I went to try this Hawaiian BBQ I try the one in Fullerton, this place was pretty bad The only gave you three ribs which the one in Fullerton gives you six ribs for the same price.

Stopped in yesterday with a large group. Food is decent, customer service is terrible. Young man behind the counter is clueless. Came in with a party of 12 and was 3rd to order and last to receive my meal. One of the guys in the back came out to deliver a small rib plate for the guys while waiting for their orders at the other end of the table. When asking about my order after watching other orders including walk in take out orders had been served, this guy had no clue why I was asking about mine like I had just ordered. After 10 of my party had completed their meals, my food arrives with no apology what so ever had me losing my appetite. Can't believe I waited for such a small Kalbi rib plate with more rice than ribs. Should have just cancelled while I watched everyone else finish their meals. Unfortunately left a tip in the beginning expecting a different experience.

Gonna write this review in hopes that they listen. I loved, loved this place when it first opened but it has gone downhill. Rib was chewy and did not fall off the bone like it used to. Kalbi ribs were not all Kalbi ribs. More than half were and the other were just beef. I know the difference and again it was dry and chewy. I would be happy to update and change my rating if they can get it back to what it used to be.
