Another one bites the dust. After only being open for a year, this place has gone downhill. Our takeout order last weekend was not ready when hubby went to pick it up. He was told to wait "seven minutes," but waited for more than 30. While he was waiting, other takeout customers came in and were also told, "seven minutes." They skimped on the little containers of sauces. The salmon smelled less than fresh, and was not marinated enough. Pita bread has gotten smaller. The rice was missing spices that it had before, and it was very oily. With the way price are going up, it's just not worth it anymore.

I am pregnant and I was craving some good a** Mediterranean food and their Downey location never failed to disappoint. But it was close to my kid's bedtime, so I was so excited to have found a Green Olive deliverable to my home! Ordered a shrimp plate and a chicken & beef plate on Ubereats. They said it would 25 mins. After paying and a little later, they changed the time to an hour wait. Ultimately, it took them 2 hours to get the food. The food was so cold. The chicken was dry. The shrimp was super salty and soggy (maybe undercooked? Or just bad shrimp). The rice was super salty and the beef was so gamey, I couldn't eat more than one bite. If the food was good, it would've been worth the wait. Can NOt believe it took them 2 hours to bring garbage I could not eat. Never go to this Green Olive or order it online. My husband is literally at McDonald's so I can have dinner at 9pm.

I attended a wonderful luncheon at the Green Olive this afternoon for 30 people. I can't say enough about the food, the staff that waited on us and brought our food in record time. It was a lot to heap on the people that worked there, but they managed to do a awesome job. We ordered from a special menu and the food was scrumptious. A good time was had by all. I wouldn't hesitate giving them a five star rating! Dianne

We went here to buy lunch for a picnic at Central Park. This is a very nice location with an attractive dining room and a great drink selection. We ordered two chicken wraps, While the one my wife bought at the Downey Green Olive JUST YESTERDAY was generous and packed with tasty chicken, the two from this location were chintzy - quite frankly, tiny by comparison and more lettuce than chicken. Very disappointing.

I have been a regular customer for the past three years enjoying Friendly staff, and Delicious food. We are very pleased with the new addition of new Partner and CHEF REMON who is able to take the Quality, Taste, and Gourmet cooking, to a higher level of delicious Mediterranean-style foods. CHEF Remon has provided excellent catering food for my Daughter's Party of 40 people after he offered us a tasting session inside his restaurant where we tasted almost 90% of everything on the Manu specially the FALAFEL that was surpassed all other Falafel that we had before, it was cooked perfectly to golden outside and green Vegi inside same as those we had in Alexandria (Egypt). Now most of the OC Coptic Churches order from Chef Remon for all occasions. CHEF Remon is a real professional CHEF with high Experience in the Restaurant business and customer service, we are very happy to see him have joined the family of The Green Olive Restaurant.

A...M....A...Z...I....N....G! I ordered this on post mates and the restaurant followed all my special instructions and the food was literally perfect! And, ok HOMEMADE FRESH pita bread?! So good!!! Worth every penny! We got filet (cooked exactly how I asked), chicken (so moist), kofta (awesome) the kibe???? Amazing!! I'm a huge Mediterranean critic and this is by far one of the best I've ever had!

Yummy! Love, love, The Green Olive! It was my first time at this location, I've only been to their other locations. We ordered for to-go, but the food smelled so good we decided to dine in with our to go to food lol. We asked and they said yes, even offered us more sauce and water! Fresh food, my fav is their chicken and sauces! Hummus is okay. Rice is sooooo good!!! Price not too bad. Friendly staff. Lots of parking.
The food is great, service is good, the place is spacious, they have a bar that's option certain hours but they have a fridge full of section with regular and alcohol drinks! Chicken Kabob and Gyro Plate. Yum!

I love Green Olive. But, Doordash and Menufy keep messing up their deliveries. And their food, ya can't miss. Tonight, Menufy f'd up again. Food was ordered, made and sitting there. No driver. After I called Green Olive to see what's up, the owner DROVE THE FOOD to me. Thanks to Green Olive! Picking up from now on.

I eat here about once a week it's the best chicken skewers place in HB. The employees there are always super friendly and helpful I recommend trying out their desserts

Great experience with Green Olive! Super tasty beef and chicken. Got the kabob family meal and a spicy chicken dish. Everything was on point and the whole family are fans.. we will be back!
