First time trying this place. Only one nervous older lady as the server for entire place. Very slow service. Food not fresh. Overpriced. Menu with no pictures or prices. Won't be coming back.

Called to see if there was any availability for tonight and before i could even finish my sentence this lady yells NO NO TABLES FOR TONIGHT NO TABLES. Terrible phone communication.

I can't say enough about how great this place is! Kim our server was friendly and kind and John always delivers with the best sushi and music!

Ordered two rainbow rolls to go and service was quick and friendly. The fish was very fresh and they did not skimp out on portions. Will be returning! also the place has an old school traditional vibe, very cute inside!

Shogun Sushi is by far some of the best sushi I have ever had. from day one always treated like family, John the owner is always in a very happy mood, and also handles the restaurants DJ duties, of which he does an great job in my humble opinion.. he plays a lot of 80's 90's hits so if you like that type of music, I highly recommend this restaurant... 5 stars in my opinion..

Ordered rolls and sashimi, both great! The Zero Roll was really really good. No rice using crabmeat as an alternative - with several different kinds of fish. Also had salmon and tuna sashimi, and salmon rolls. All was delicious. Ambiance is cool, kinda old school vibe which we enjoyed. Service was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

First time here in a long time. The food was very good, sashimi portions large. Service was fine. Only issue is that the place needs a big upgrade. It does not look clean, floors are really bad and appear dirty. I realize things have been tough the past couple years but an upgrade is in order Other than that, the food was very good.

I've tried countless sushi places, and I gotta say this is probably the worst of them all. Completely inedible. Not only was it slimy and gooey, but our rolls had the wrong fish. I really hate to leave bad reviews, but this one deserved it.

Food is fresh and well prepared. Ambiance is awesome with lively music always playing. Our server makes sure we order just the right amount of food every time! Chef is always happy and friendly. Great mom and pop place where everyone always working hard to please us every visit.

While visiting my family here, we have had the other two sushi places before and finally tried this one and man, it was SO GOOD! The sushi was so fresh and tasty. The service was great, it felt we were very welcomed and the server was so helpful with the choices. Good music and the chef was dancing while rolling sushi and it was just a fun experience. There were some regulars, that's how I know the place is amazing and gives you that family vibe. Also, it was getting packed. We are absolutely coming back here!!

Was eating at the Hawaiian place next door and came to shogun just to buy a miso soup for my 5 year old who was feeling sick. Went to the register and asked the waitress (an older lady) if I can order a miso soup. Her response "I can't make that right now. I have no time to do that." Place was busy but not to where she couldn't get 1 little miso soup for a sick child. Skip this place. Just go to the Hawaiian place next door. Staff is way more friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, and they play all the good Hawaiian jams.

Tried out this local place the other day. The two owners were extremely friendly to their regulars, which at times felt like they were prioritizing regulars over new faces. As for the food itself.. the rice in my nigiri was warm and was not seasoned. They were also out of about half of the items I ordered. I think their cooked food may be another story but I went in only for sushi. I could live with the service but warm, unseasoned rice under fairly average/mediocre fish isn't worth a second visit for me.

We stumbled on this place on a Saturday night. It was crazy busy and we had to wait a long time for our food. They were even turning away take out orders. But it was worth the wait. This was the best sushi we've have since moving here. They have typical orders as well as some unique orders. The staff was friendly and even though the wait was long every table seemed chill and happy. Don't go if you're in a rush but if you have the time to spare the food is amazing. They had some very interesting looking drinks as well.

Being from out of town and visiting my parents The overall experience was good, the sashimi and sushi were tasty and fresh. The host, server and the owner was very present. Although they are short on staffs and it's shows. The portions are definitely smaller than I used to being from Buffalo, NY. The menu here is mainly Sushi's bar style now since I visited here three times. The Ambiance can used some flair and refreshing upgrades also.
