First Timer and we enjoyed it very much. We live in the city but always drove by. We were glad we tried Slice. Very clean granite stove tables, waiter was informative, helpful and great service. Dined in and finished entrees without leaving a crumb. Soup and Veggies are all you can eat. Amount of meat is first ordered. No sticky tables and presentation done well and adds to enjoyment.

Saturday night we came here the waiting to get the table not insane about 10minutes. The waiter suggested ordering 12 lbs for two people, and it was indeed enough. I ordered pork bone soup with vermicelli and ponzu sauce, while my boyfriend chose miso with udon. Compared to other places, the broth here is very clean without grease. I find the soup at this hot pot place healthier than at other places I've tried. The total cost for two people, including an appetizer, was about $100, including the tip.

Service not what it used to be, felt like a bother being there. I used to love this place and the service.

Amazing place that allows you to cook your food to your perfection. I love the technology of a hot stove seamlessly built into the table…custom made?❤️?

We have driven by a number of times and have been interested in exploring and finally stopped in.What a treat! The variety was incredible, so many options! The experience of dining outside with the option to cook your soup was so fun. We really enjoyed the meal and will definitely return. The service is good but they could be a little more attentive.

Slice Shabu restaurant in Huntington Beach is a good choice for shabu dining. The flavor options are excellent, the food is fresh, the meat, seafood, chicken, and vegetable options are sufficient, sauces and spice levels are perfection! I do wish you could try more than just 2 sauces, and under most categories as you build your meal; if you choose certain options, you are charged more for certain items. You can easily pay $40 for a shabu bowl, too much, in my opinion. Slice is definitely more expensive than even the all-you-can eat choices in the area. It was a solid meal for this evening, however, I'm not sure if this would be our first choice for Shabu next time, just based on price.

Very good spot for shabu shabu. I love how everything is displayed and given in a tray. I ordered the sukiyaki broth with toro and short rib meat. I love how they have hot drops to make both your broth and sauce extra spicy :) The servers were very attentive and always checking in if we need anything including water. Very spacious and clean environment right on Beach Blvd. I definitely would go again.

my daughter and I really enjoyed the whole dining experience. Lovely outdoor dining and attentive service with delicious shabu. we both ordered combo A. There was a large assortment of proteins, vegetables and noodles. The broths ad sauces are super flavorful. We left full and happy.

This place is still good and service is still on point. Except they don't come around to give more soup base when your pot is drying out. The combo was perfect for sharing because I wasn't hungry at all. It was two different kinds of meat and we got two soup bases with an extra cost. Although the meat quality is not too notch where is melts in your mouth, it was decent enough for the price. We got short ribs and rib eye. Short ribs were sliced so think it broke the minute on went in the soup. The ribeye was good. Came in and out as a whole. Perfect amount of vegetables for one person. I ordered an extra side of udon to eat with the broth. We tried the miso and miso spicy. Miso spicy will have a little kick. So if you can't eat spicy, don't attempt. Maybe just get miso and then get a hot sauce drop to fit your taste. It was a nice day to eat outside and enjoy the weather. I honestly think inside is always too cold. So today the weather was perfect for outside.

Used to go here a lot when they first opened and recently came back again since they allowed dogs outside for the patio. Very nice workers, but the quality of the food was not how I remembered. The broth wasn't flavorful. I got the pork bone and the Tom yum. Both were okay. The toro wasn't too bad either. We got the curry katsu chicken and that was pretty bland too . Maybe I came back on a bad day but it's not how it used to remember. The place did look dead and it was a Sunday night
