I've been to several locations at this point, and this one is solid just like the others. I do wish Somi Somi would bring back their fruit or mini macaron topping, but I digress. I got the taiyaki and my usual upside down ah-boong. I also went for one of my favorite flavors, the milk, topped with my usual Oreo and graham cracker topping. I got my usual filling as well, the custard. Overall, I was happy. Definitely would come back.

Great atmosphere. Bought 5 Taiyaki. The flavor is great, price is good. The filling inside the taiyaki(s) felt very skimped. Goto the korean markets and buy from the mom and pops inside them - the filling is packed to the brim!

Tried SomiSomi and opted for 2 Nutella taiyakis, both of which had a perfect crunch. The order was prepared in a reasonable 5-7 minutes. However, the distribution of Nutella was a bit uneven between the two taiyakis. The first one required about 3 bites into the mochi before reaching the Nutella, while the second needed just one bite. Fortunately, there's ample parking available, and the location, surrounded by various restaurants and shops, makes it a great place to hang out.

I love Somi Somi and their taiyaki. It is actually so good and I was craving something sweet after eating dinner. I ordered an Upside-Down Ahboong with a Ube & Red Bean swirl and taro filling. I really enjoyed the taiyaki. The taro filling was sweet but not too sweet. The ube was also really good but I regret getting the red bean part. The red bean was a bit too artificial for my taste and ruined the taste of the dessert for me. The worker was really fast and I didn't have to wait that long to get my dessert. The place was not as empty as I expected for a Thursday night. 4.5 stars rounded up.

We went to Somi Somi Wednesday night to show we support our son's school PTA. The soft serve was tasty as usual. We got the Upside down ahboong with cookie & cream soft serve, Nutella filling topped with Oreo crumbs and sprinkles. Split it three ways. Haha if I could and if it wasn't too chilly outside I'd probably eat the whole thing. Customer service was great. **I hope they have black sesame soft serve soon. That's my fave!
