Been eating at Super Mex for over 20 years. Can never go wrong with any item that has their enchilada sauce on it. Love this place for my Mexican food cravings.

The Salsa is not the same as the Long Beach Super Mex. Seemed like it came out of a jar.Food is good but salsa is not so much!

Hands down worse service place I'd ever had... the waiter didn't think me and my bf spoke Spanish but we do and heard him talking about how I'm fat and ugly and he couldn't get why my bf is with me . Worse service I have ever had .

We are usually huge fans of Super Mex, and are pretty frequent fans of take out. Tonight, we decided to eat outside on the patio and it was very disappointing. The beans, which are a family favorite, were beyond bland. When we mentioned it to our waiter, he told us that other people had mentioned the same thing. All in all, our meal was not what we are used to at Super Mex.

Super Mex came highly rated by local friends so I was excited to try them. I started with their fresh salsa and loved it. I also sampled a pork and a chicken chimichanga. The meat was seasoned and very moist in both but I preferred the chicken. Although the majority preferred the pork. My favorite item was the tacos. The tortillas was fried and loaded with all of the goodies. I especially enjoyed the chicken and guacamole.

Foodie Review #4 supermex beach Blvd. UNIQUE REVIEW. Wife and her son went, I asked for Carne asada carnitas burrito to go. They ate paid and came back. A the carnitas was rubber and had no flavor. I returned the burrito, and was refunded. Next Episode, wife checks bank because she now has 4.00 in her account. Turns out Waiter /Cashier charged her card for the meal and to go. HER SON ALSO PAID FOR LUNCH. SIGNED RECIEPT. I went back up again. I spoke to manager again, this time I was less than Nice. I worked as a waiter with a POS system before, the system is designed NOT to allow multiple pays in total for the same guest check. I asked for the manager and expressed my displeasure that both My wife and her son were charged for the same ticket. "We arr understafffed sir, it was a mistake" I answered, I have used a POS system before, you have to enter 2 checks to pay for both. At this point the MANAGER said " Sir you are being disruptive to the other guests, I will call the police if you don't leave. I will refund both checks, and hands me reciept from one. I said if other check is not refunded, I Will call the police for you! As a chef waiter bartender over the years, I can only Say the Restaurant should be investigating how this occurred, And if you have eaten there recently I would check your credit card debit card statements!!!!+! ASAP! FYI MANAGER TOLD ME TO NEVER COME BACK AGAIN, LMAO AS IF???

Our family has been loyal to Super Mex, for decades...and this has been our main Super Mex! We always have a great dining experience & always leave happy, with full bellies!! But with my dad being a chef/restaurant owner himself, he couldn't stop commenting how amazing our service was with Sylvia!! Especially with Covid and all, we know it's been a challenge, to say the least, for restaurants, but Super Mex was awesome! Very accommodating, kept drinks filled, cleared dirty dishes, food served bubbling hot & always so tasty!!! Service was with a happy, so helpful, smiling attitude...even with a service dog (under the table)!! !
After bringing my 4# chihuahua to this restaurant on several other occasions this time the management told me that I could not have the dog in my lap anymore, she must stay on the ground. Chihuahua’s are lap dogs after all, they expect to sit in your lap. When I ordered extra meat with my meal they brought an extra taco (meat only) on a plate so I took half of the meat off the plate and put the plate on the ground where my dog was waiting. Instantly the manager came out and told me the dog could not eat there so I picked the empty plate up and handed it to the manager, took my dog and walked out. I left 5$ with my human friends to pay for the meat that the dog ate (I only gave her half the meat, the rest was still on my plate which I did not get to eat) and walked out without paying for my meal that had just been served. If this restaurant is no longer allowing dogs they need to post a sign. Poor management.

I always enjoy eating here! The food tastes great. I usually come in and it's already busy but the staff still had great service! Clementina was amazing, I'll definitely be coming back.

Nope never again, ordered from Postmates since I'm out of a car right now, crunchy tacos were sooo very soggy no crunch what's so ever, burrito was also soggy and full of grease. Only good thing was my ice tea. I never do reviews but 30 bucks wasted bums me out. The one in sunset beach is great but this one I'll pass for now on.
