It appears this place is closed. We went by on December 17 and the lights were out. The bartender at a restaurant nearby told us it had been closed about 2 months. Hopefully they reopen because they have a great beer list.

Casual eatery with good sized meals, 3 of us had the 3 Tacos meal and another had a burger. We were all very happy with our meals and the service. Location was nice too. You could probably share some of the meals as they were very generous. We would happily return.

Not a hotel, but a restaurant. Burgers and salads mostly. They validate parking, which is nice because a burger, side and a soft drink will run you $20. Great burger, crispy fries, and a nice view of the beach.Food & drinks: Gastropub menu witha few vegetarian options like Buffalo cauliflower bites.

the service is friendly and attentive. the food is pretty good and priced appropriately for the location. not sure I'd ever give a burger joint 5 stars but the noise level didn't help. not their fault. the place is basically in a five sided concrete box with the open end facing a southern california freeway... add in the loose beach vibe and the only time this place is quiet is probably about 2 hours after closing. all in all... Ill be back.

I was disappointed that, after being on the waitlist for 1 1/2 hours, we were told 30 minutes before closing that they weren't going to be able to seat OR serve our group at all.Fortunate for us, Simmzy's welcomed us, fed us, and treated us like valued guests. #baddream

Good burger. Nice spot with a view. Wide selection of drinks. Caution: they use an app for the bill that starts at 18% tip and actually has a different calculation at the signature. Must be some pre/post tax glitch. Just leaves a bad vibe after a delicious burger.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower Buffalo "wings"

We enjoyed our food and the atmosphere is great since it's right across the street from the beach. The service was good and the food was fine but the cheapest burger came in at about $18 and fries were extra. This seems extremely expensive so we will not be going back since there are other options where the food is just as good and cheaper, like TK Burger very close to here.
Best beer selections in HB. They surprise me all the time I go there with the most unique draft beers that are hard to come by like Pliny the Elder

Had to seat ourselves then after 15 minutes didn't receive any service. Waitress came to help the table next to us. When we told her she proceeded to wait on a large table that just walked in. Not cool.

Well... I'm not sure it was MY American Dream! But maybe it WAS the OWNERS American Dream to own this money maker! LOL! ?What an amazing spot! Wow!The food was very good!(And I hate to say this)... The service was lacking! And it wasn't really that busy!The girl (server) was very sweet and nice, she just rarely came to the table. So anything we wanted, we had to wave her down.The view was sick! The food was great! The server was a sweetheart! So... no REAL complaints!Especially when there's so many starving and hurting people in this world! And here we are enjoying the good life! We are SO BLESSED to live here! I'll be back for MORE of the American Dream food! ?

We are from NC and dined in last Wednesday night. We were the only two people to sit inside (I was too cold to sit outside)!Maddie waited on us and practically made our evening! So kind, friendly, and attentive. I had a very minor issue with one food item which she quickly took care of! The place had such a fun vibe! Next time we are in town we will definitely be back!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with light Brown to dark skin, visited any was refused service, sat us down didn't say anything else after that couple next to us got their drinks and appetizers tables are about 2 feet apart never even asked us for drinks or said we will be right with you, after 10min we decided to leave also another couple also same senerio, this place is very prejudice against darker skin customers do not give them your money. The sad part it was young kids at front and wait service, maybe Management trains them to do business like they did. Place was not busy either, if you want good draft beer and a bite to eat don't go here go to Zimmys on the other end of shopping center. Didn't give other stars because didn't get served, I have never been refused service in my whole life and I have dined in many predominantly white restaurants.
