I'm bummed I finally visited this place and found out it was their last weekend before closing. Place is being turned into more apartments.I'm a fan of stand-up. I've seen a good amount of live shows, and watched/listened to tons more. I gotta say, I was impressed with the quality of the comics. Beat my expectations. Better than some acts I've seen at bigger chain venues. I wish I had discovered this sooner.

Have you ever had a heated debate with a loved one, and your premises get rejected and you never get to make your point?I love this establishment! It is my mental health center. You would not believe what I have been able to say here. If you convince your loved one to attend an open mic with you and tell them that you are going to attempt to perform stand up comedy, and you lead them to believe that you are going to speak about another topic, and you are really there to get them to shut up and listen... Throw your name in the cup at The Rec Room... When your name is drawn out... The room is yours!~If I wanted a job, I am such a fan of domestic disputes, I want to be a cop! You see, I am a communications scientist and know that people are treated individually based on their look and glide. So when I hear domestic disputes, they crack me up for they are two people telling the other to adopt the way of thinking that works for them, that would never work for the other person. I think I would be a good cop too! They are most afraid of interrupting domestic disputes, well aware that both parties are ready to fight, and can join each other to fight the police to get back to fighting each other. Oh MAN! My Rec Room Rattleheads are my Family! An open mic is like an AA meeting, but there are no scapegoats. In fact, drinking ethanol is encouraged. It pays the bills to keep the place open tomorrow. Some people go to Church and get on their knees begging for forgiveness and tithe to the Church. NOT ME!~ I go to The Rec Room, tithe to the bar, pick up the mic and talk some shit!~I love this place and its people!~

Went to a Comedy show....Nice venue for a small show....The place has Bowling, pool tables, and all kinds of arcade games.Parking is easy.
