I was so disappointed in my purchase I was excited for the valentine's mini cakes with image $25 I thought good reviews let's check them out and local, but come to have the cake it tasted so horrible me and my daughter have a huge sweet tooth she 2 and she had a taste of the frosting and she said ewww and threw it out I tried it after and the cake has no flavor and it tasted old like low quality I was very disappointed I will stick to my cake lady and not to mention the die they use it stains so badly. Will never come back.

I used to love their cakes because their whipped cream was homemade and the cake flavor delicious which would be understandable why their Prices were higher than other bakeries in the area . Unfortunately they decided to start using "Pastry Pride whipped cream" which is stored bought ? .Cakes are decorated with excessive whipped cream which takes away the flavor of the bread and filling which remains the traditional recipe. I ended up removing all the outside of the cake to be able to eat it. We’ve been a loyal Pastry Pride consumer ever since we began making cakes.Our filing is NOT whipped cream but rather a cream that is made from scratch. We cover our cakes in whipped cream. And the amount of whipped cream the cake is covered is depending on the decor. As you can understand Some decoration requires more cream than others especially with the new trends. Again, I’m sorry you thought we made our whipped cream from scratch, we don’t. Never have. I recently came to buy two cakes for my colleagues in less than a month. It was their birthday. Of course I bought the ones that were made already. I wasn't disappointed. Just the presentation of them meaning the way they were decorated were kind of off. They should maybe have neutral colors from where to choose from. Other than that, the flavors were good. I've tried the chocolate and the guava flavored one. Both were good.

Thank you so much for making my mom's wedding cake just how she asked for. This bakery created the cake my mom asked with care & perfection (a picture was provided & was made exactly the same). The price & the service was excellent. The cakes tasted delicious; fresh & with great flavors (we order pineapple & coconut/chocolate & mocha). We will definitely be ordering from this bakery again!

But Today Was My Birthday & My Husband Bought Me A Last Minute Cake Which Tasted Totally Bad, Like It Had Been Refrigerated For Way Tooo Long! Me and my family have years ordering cakes from Aprils. Cakes are always fresh and delicious. The orange and guava cakes are a must try. The place is small but clean and the lady is very welcoming and helpful. You will not be disappointed.

First time customer! We ordered the vanilla cake with vanilla mousse and OMG! It was soo good. On top of that, they made our vision come to life. The cake was for my 6 year old unicorn theme party. Everyone loved the cake and the presentation. Will be ordering again for my baby shower!

They have Real good cakes.. get there early on the weekend, it's a first come first serve. They run out quick. I recommend the pineapple cake or the guava.. the price is fair you get your money worth

Everything about this bakery is my absolute favorite, from the staff to the owner! Everyone is so helpful and very attentive. The quality of the cakes is perfection. The frosting they use is my FAVORITE thing ever. Not to sweet and so smooth. My family has been coming here for years because there are no other places that come close. Everytime we have a party we never have any left over cake. The motto "you get what you pay for" is very fitting for this bakery, you will not be disappointed!
We use to buy the guava , orange and strawberry cake years ago.. like ten years ago. They were always so fresh and yummy. Sadly we decided to start buying cakes from places that had big names, those places will never be as good as the cakes from April's Cake. Recently had my baby shower and I decided to go back there, had a sample of chocolate cake and pineapple and I didn't even think twice about it. I wanted to order again from them. The lady who helped us out Ana, was so patient with me and my family as we decided on what we wanted. She was extremely nice and kind! I did NOT get my cake delivered so I can not say if the delivery person is mean/rude like the other comments. I picked up the cake myself :) (well my brother in law and dad did) It was extremely fresh and exactly what I requested! We got a two tier cake; top was chocolate , bottom was pineapple. The second cake was a smaller one ; strawberry. No one trashed their slice. Everyone loved the cakes. Has anyone tried their cupcakes btw? I would like to know if they are good ?
