Update: so I'm a glutton for punishment and decided against better judgement to give the Brewpub another try. All I can say is I must be INVISIBLE to each and every server at this place. After my bad luck sitting outside the last time I thought surely sitting at the bar in plain sight directly in front of a crew of bartenders and other servers would be no problem right? NOPE. I had not only two, but three waitresses stare at me only to look away when it appeared I was going to ask for - a menu! How dare I right?! They walked several feet away to continue their conversation and I continued to wait. A couple of bartenders were working at the opposite end of the bar and I foolishly hoped one of them might venture my way, wait, here comes one now.... Nope. He went to the back and I remained menu - less. The waitresses wrapped up their conversation- surely one will wait on me now?! Nope. Not lucky as the two women who just walked up to the bar and ordered a couple of beers. Oh here comes a manager type gentleman who starts working at the register next to me- ringing up existing orders. He'll wait on me when he's done right?! I mean I'm right next to him.... NOPE. He waits on a NEW customer who just sat next to me. I guess next time I'll wear my flashing neon sign to let them know I exist. But I doubt I'll give them a next time. Learned my lesson guys- you ignore your customers. I got the message.

Food was great, the service was very good. It had snowed all day, so we sat on the patio in 30 degree weather (with heaters) and watched the snow fall from the trees. AWESOME !!

We checked in at the hostess stand at 2 pm and asked for a table to watch the ncaa Final Four at 3 pm. We were seated at a table at 230 and the waiter advised there is a 90 minute limit at the table and recommended we get a bar seat if we wanted to stay for the entire game I wished we had been told at checkin of the 90 minute limit for a table. I spoke to the manager Braydon, and he confirmed the policy and defended it. I told him the hostess should have told us of the 90 minute limit at our 2 pm checkin so we could have went elsewhere. And the final frustration today, he said they needed the tables for the 1.5 hour wait for the 1.5 hour backlog for a table. As we left, they had many empty tables and no folks outside waiting on a table. We went to the pizza place next door and they welcomed us and sat us at a table and no 90 minute limit. Avoid the pub, too many other options in town that want your business.

I'm giving this review based on service. It was my first time coming to this place and my experience was not what I thought it was going to be. The food was very good! I ordered the pork pozole and it was delicious but our server made the time being there dreadful. She came off as "sarcastically friendly" and I feel like service nowadays sucks! everywhere you go they all have the same attitude. it really threw me off, service is a big part and i feel like this place just lacked it. if you want to order from here just do take out. I won't be returning.

Came to idyllwild to celebrate my birthday and wow!!! It did not disappoint. Great views, there’s a river/stream right in the parking lot. The food is unique and so tasty (which is why I love eating at breweries) and the service was top notch. Chance was our server and he treated us great and had awesome knowledge of the menu. I asked for a mocktail and it was DELISH. We ordered the strawberry aquachile and wow, it beat my expectations. Super happy birthday girl here. I also got a free dessert. Wooo! If you’re in the area 10/10 recommend. Even if you’re not in the area, totally worth the scenic drive.

Only one word to describe this place: COOL. Friendly staff that worked hard to accommodate the crowd of people who wanted to eat there on a lovely Saturday afternoon. We enjoyed our meal at the awesome bar. The food is SO GOOD. We are vegans and we appreciated the amazing variety of delicious options. We had vegan brats and Buffalo cauliflower bites. Delicious! Sorry, no pictures of our meal or tasty IPA because we snarfed it down!!! We will be back. PS Idyllwild is one cool place!

Dog friendly brewery is always a plus for me. They have a huge pup patty on the menu and the human food is amazing. I had the nachos and hubs had fish and chips. Beer was great and really liked the cocktails.
