February 10: Sorry to report that these donuts are now the same as other donut shops. Apparently, whatever the original owner did to make great tasting/non-greasy donuts isn't being done by the new owners. Unfortunately, even the health department gave the shop only 92/100. All previous scores were 98. Hopefully, things will be improved by the new owners. However, since today was my second visit since the change in ownership and the new owners are still making donuts differently than the original owner...I doubt that I will return.

I love the donuts here! Also, the new management is friendly and helpful! I always stop in when I pass by and go out of my way to drive an extra 10 -15 mins to grab donuts here. My only complaint is they run out too soon some days! (Which means they are so good that I'm not they only one dropping in!)

First time stopping by at this Donut Shop for my sweet craving. Everything that I chose was deliciously good! Employee and the owner are very friendly and helpful. My favorite are the donut holes.

Trash now that the old man left. Can't taste the hard work and love anymore. Just don't taste as fresh. He used to know everybody and toss in extra too. Hope he is doing well. New owners raised prices too. Oh well, time to find new donut shop.
We bought donut holes to make a holiday donut tree for a potluck. The donut holes, as well as the other donuts purchased were delicious! Definitely will be back!

I drive down from Chula Vista to IB twice a month just to get my hands on these tasty treats. The ownership appears to have changed hands but the high quality of their offerings remain exactly the same. I had a chance to chat it up with the new owner Carlos and was glad to hear that he's committed to maintaining the quality that has made this place the best donut shop in IB for years. I try to get here by 8a because they sell out frequently. The place is clean, well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Can't wait to come by again especially for the Nutella crumb donuts, my new favorite!!!

Disappointed with quality since it was sold. Haven't been back after our first experience with the new owners. Donuts were possibly a day old, definitely not the same.

Brought a dozen to work in advance of National Donut Day on Sunday, 11/5/23. Here are some comments: That Apple Fritter was on FIRE! The Glazed Twisted was one of the best donuts I've ever had! I loved the Maple Bar, so good! The Chocolate filled Croissant was like having dessert for breakfast! And the Bacon Maple Bar has real bacon and gone in 4 bites! The sign says they close at 1pm, but they typically sell out before noon, so get there early.
