Stopped in to fuel up before Coachella and couldn't be happier with our choice. The sandwiches we ordered were super fresh and worth every penny. Make sure to check the hours cuz they close early. Staff were also very friendly. We'll be back!

Since I tend to go to the same places all the time when I come to Palm Desert, I wanted to try something different this time around. Found It's A Deli after doing some research. Can't go wrong with sandwiches! Although the options on the regular menu were certainly enticing, I couldn't pass on a Chipotle Chicken Sandwich. Really good, had fresh ingredients and was the right amount of food for what I was looking for (i.e., not getting too full). Yelp check-in also netted me a free blueberry muffin, which was quite tasty. Staff here are really friendly, no complaints from me! Only thing that I have to note is that it took a while for the food to be ready, but I guess that's what happens when everyone is made-to-order. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

If I start my day with the breakfast burrito. My day stared out right. Lunch choices abound. The food is excellent and the staff is amazing. Kind. Thoughtful and always remember your name. I am so pleased and impressed with the food and customer service from Kelly at It's a Deli! I was in town for a work presentation and needed to bring breakfast for my client. I saw great reviews and wanted to place an order. I decided on 10 bagels with spread, 5 breakfast burritos and 5 breakfast sandwiches. Kelly was very helpful and even called me back after I ordered to confirm additional information from me to ensure the order would be just what I needed. When I picked the order up the next morning, Kelly and the staff were very friendly, had the order ready to go, and I was in and out of the deli in no time. The food was such a hit with my client! Multiple people asked me for deli information because they enjoyed the food and wanted to have the food again. I highly recommend It's a Deli and will be by again the next time i'm in town. I’m always looking for a great sandwich, and It’s a Deli does not disappoint! I’m not usually in this area but this restaurant was close by so I decided to give it a try. The interior & exterior decor is nothing to brag about, but the restaurant is clean. The menu has a decent variety - not too overwhelming with options. The kind young lady who took my order suggested the daily specials. I ordered Kel’s Hollywood (turkey & pastrami on rye). Typically I’m really picky about pastrami (I don’t like fatty meat) but this sandwich was outstanding! The meat was lean & flavorful, and the rye bread was not over powering. The house made slaw was also fantastic. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The staff was absolutely wonderful as well - so kind & appreciative, phenomenal customer service. I wish I lived closer so I could return more often.
