4 stars because of the golf. Give it 5 actually. Bar is cool, good view and drinks but generally food is pedestrian, especially the pizza. Not sure if it's made daily but it really has a frozen pizza quality. Unfortunately also, asked for extra crispy crust. It toook more than 30 min to get it, was told ir was because it was an extra crispy order...which means another minute in the oven? Regardless, not extra crispy, not even crispy. Will be back for the golf though!

Bunch of guy out for night while their wives attend a club function. Absolutely perfect for the occasion. Big sports bar with a bunch of cheap chinese guitars signed by famous people. Hard Rock Cafe on a budget, and that's alright. Everyone here was friendly and attentive. Seated right away and beer order in minutes. Music was too loud (for my geezer tastes) and the wrong era, but we were able to chat above it, so that was alright too. Everyone liked their food, but I have to shout out to the Gluttony Burger. Right from the menu: "beef patty, shredded pork, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, house bbq sauce, fried onion strings, brioche bun." It is as good as it sounds.

Happy hour drinks were delicious ! Also had the sliders with French fries and chicken nachos. Didn't care for the nachos. Refried beans on the bottom were scarce.

Big mistake ordering fish tacos. Absolutely tasteless. Party of 4. 3 ordered fish tacos, 1 ordered fish and chips which were decent. All 3 of us commented on how bad the Fish Tacos were and how a local Rubios Fish Tacos were at least 10 times better. Maybe other items on the menu are better. But this was a bad first experience there. No Happy hour food menu either like their website shows. Atmosphere, decor and ambiance was great. Just needs some better food. FYI. The server never asked how the food was or if we liked our meal.

My wife and I took my grandmother out for lunch. The atmosphere is good here and so is the food. I have been here before and usually get great service, but for whatever reason I felt like the server was bothered every time we asked her for something. That was the only negative part about our visit and I hope the waitress has a better day.

This an amazing place, has beautiful views over golf course if you eat outside, a great musician singing outside during my Sunday lunch and great service.. I've always enjoyed coming here, either for lunch or dinner..
I've been here a few times and always enjoy the food and the staff are prompt and friendly.

We were checking out spots to bring our friends for happy hour and went to the Big Rock Pub. It is decorated with guitars and music industry memorabilia so it is very interesting to see. unfortunately the service is really slow. I ordered a glass of wine and it took 20 minutes to come. We ordered burgers and while I ordered it cooked medium it was really overcooked... when it finally came after about a 45 minute wait. The consensus on the burgers was there were mediocre.

Hard to believe the disappointment when we have to return to hostess and ask to place a to go order. We waited 19 mins without even a server to attend our table. Then had to go to bar and order our own drinks. Bar tender refused to serve us without payment even though we had a table. This is a wonderful atmosphere of a pub/restaurant, but the lack of respect towards a weary travler is terrible. It took another 40 mins to get our orders and by then it was a gut punch when we got back to house and food was wrong. I went back to bar to fix my double long Island ice tea twice. Management was not available for the entire hr we sat and waited. Sadly this was the 2nd time we had the exact experience. We wanted to eat there but the service was just terrible causing us to run out of time and had to leave. Hope others that were local can appreciate the service as we watched a flury of staff helping their regulars while zero attention was given to a couple of hungry thirsty and worn out travelers.

Big Rock Pub is a fun golf course restaurant with a rich collection of signed "Rock N Roll" guitars and other paraphernalia. Gayle, Erin, Jim, and I recently stopped by for Lunch after walking through the nearby College of the Desert Street Fair. Big Rock Pub has a nicely varied menu, but overall we found the food to be just OK. 2 of the adults temporarily broke their diet by splitting a huge order of nachos with chicken (with a tortilla underneath). Even then, there was a to-go box, which was hand devoured shortly after our return home. I had a "small" BBQ chicken pizza, while another adult had a Poke Bowl. 2 Beers and 2 Bloody Mary's rounded out the meal, and one that some of us felt a little belly heavy. Our wait guy, was friendly, engaging, and did a great job selling the menu. I though he had a passing resemblance to an adult Manny on Modern Family. And of course, half the fun of this place was admiring all the "Rock N Roll" stuff, talking about the associated artists, and playing a little trivia. I'd come back for this attraction by itself.
