Great food, fast service and the chabelas are great. I need to go back to try the rest of the menu. Theres alot options but this restaurant is definitely one of the best restaurant in the area.

Food was ok. Ladies didn't even come check on us. We had to keep waving them down until one finally paid attention to bring a box. They were way into the chisme balled up on the end of the counter.

Excellent service & amazing food. My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Palm Desert.
Definitely a hidden gem if you’re not from the valley I’ve been coming here for years. The Agua chilies is my favorite however, so overpriced the food is good and the candies at the front counter are also delicious if you want authentic Mexican food with flavor when visiting Indio be sure to check out El Tapatio located on Indio Boulevard which is also a historic route.

My family and I were debating to come to el Tapatío or go to Allendes, so my daughter said el Tapatío, so we get there staff greeted us , at ordering it went smooth, we ordered our drinks and food, when we got our food, the enchiladas and the carnitas plates they look good and they tasted good the bad thing the avocado was old and brownish, the carne asada torta the meat was too dried like if it was reheated, my taco de carne asada the meat was really dried, and my cocktel de camarones, avocado was old the juice was too sour and the shrimp most of them still had shell on, we were so hungry that we ate the food, but the server has a responsibility of checking the food to see if it looks ok before taking it to customers and she only checked on us once and I wanted another drink , I can't say If I would go back as for the cooks, they shouldn't give preheated food.

My first time here, the worse beans the worse rice. I ordered red cheese enchiladas. All I have to say is I couldn't wait to use the restroom as soon as I left. Everything but my intestines came out. FOOD POISONING. I'm never going again , it's in a rough part of INDIO., it's dark outside making it hard to see. The one star is for the service ,Very attentive servers. I came here on a recommendation

The worse green chicken enchiladas and chicken tacos I have ever had. The chicken is as not chopped up, big pieces that looked picked at on the tacos and enchilada, bigger than bite size. Both items were Flavorless to top it off! Save your money And avoid disappointment!
