Disgusting! Tony was our server and took forever to take our orders. Took our orders and brought us our food. Told us he would bring us soy sauce and chili paste. 20 minutes passed and still nothing. He never came back to ask how our food was. Horrible service. Food worst. Ordered walnut prawns, sizzling beef, crispy noodle with chicken, pan fried noodle with beef and 2 glasses of plum wine.. Prawns were big. Everything else is bearly warm when brought to the table. Food was colorless and lacked flavor. Disgusting! Bill came out to be $125 before tip. Gave the tip to the man that was attentive and assisted us throughout the entire meal. Only other time Tony came was when the bill was paid. For what? No reason. Dont spend your money or time here. Food is not up to par with anything. Panda express is much better. 100% The ambiance is dark. Its not a romantic place. They don't want you to see that food doesn't look good. Big portions but what does that matter if the food is disguising? We left the left overs. No wok flavor. The description of the restaurant mentions world renowned chefs. Lmao. What a joke. From what world. The host at the front had the audacity to ask if we had reservations? Lmao. Restaurant is small and lacking servers, manger doesn't care and food is not palatable. Never will come back to spend money.

Waitress couldn't take cocktail orders. The food was overpriced and bland (at least what we ordered based on waitress recommendation). Manager needed to clear our table because our wait staff was. Trying to deal with two other tables (who interestingly were being served identical dishes we had -another recommendation?) Beautiful ambience but terrible service and food. A real disappointment!

Their soup is gross. But their duck is amazing. Could be a good date spot or for people to spend their winnings after winning the jackpot in the casino.

Service and food were terrific. Servers very attentive, filling up water, asking if we needed anything. This is the third time we've been to Joy and thoroughly enjoy it. Highly recommended!!

I do NOT understand this restaurant. We have had problems before but decided to to go in at 4:00 to use our credits. Went in and the hostess said go on in to the bar. My husband has a walker so that was probably a part of the managers distaste. A couple sitting and eating said please let us sit at the table that was empty as most of the tables were . We sat down but the manager said no, in an hour it's going to be reserved. We said we could be out in 45 minutes but he said no.! The couple eating next to us were shocked but we just decided to leave. This restaurant has had many negative reviews but what I really think is the manager is very prejudice and a real problem to dining in this restaurant. Maybe the mangers who is head of the restaurant's in this casino should take a look.

We had a reservation in the dining room and appreciate it was a Saturday night however it so loud the four of us could not have a conversation. Unfortunately there were a couple of larger tables who were quiet loud. The food was comparable to other Chinese restaurants in the valley although very authentic and more expensive. We would like a few more vegetable selections on the menu. Our server was pleasant and efficient.

Excellent service as always! If you're looking for a place that always has the A team working, then try Joy at the Fantasy Springs casino! We're always treated like vips and so isn't every table from what I've seen! The food is amazing and the staff is fantastic! Noel is the manager and is always there to greet us with a smile! Today we had Christian as our server who was attentive and friendly! The hostesses are always so welcoming! Great ambiance and value! Highly recommended!

5 stars. A new friend of mine told me that I had to give Joy a try. I was initially turned off because this restaurant is inside a casino, but that's a conversation for another time. I recently got a new car and felt like taking a lunchtime drive. Joy did not disappoint. BBQ noodle soup: 5 stars! I ordered the pork BBQ noodle soup. I was given the chicken noodle soup. Both were delicious. Chicken: tender, flavorful, DELICIOUS skin on some of the chicken slices. Pork: DELICIOUS. juicy, flavorful and juuuust the right amount of fat. Mostly meat and just delicious! The soup itself if clear, appears to be rich in collagen, and comes with a healthy portion of rice noodles and baby bok choy. Add a little green onions and you got a 5 star dish in and of itself. I was about halfway thorough the chicken noodle soup when the Manager, Victoria came by the check on us. I mentioned that the soup was delicious, but I had actually ordered the BBQ PORK noodle soup and asked if I could try a bite of the pork. I am so glad I did this because even though the chicken was 5 star, the pork is much much better. I slid the slices of pork into my soup and gobbled them up. Spicy cucumbers: 5 stars Great appetizer! (see photo) I don't remember the name of this dish exactly but its under the lunch appetizer and its chunks of cucumbers mixed with chili, garlic and a sauce of some kind. Delicious and reminds me of something my grandmother used to make me with my rice. Gin Gin Mule (alcoholic drink): 4 stars. Strong, but good and I just might order this drink again. Service: 5 stars!

I was concerned going here as their Yelp ratings are not stellar. However, we wanted Chinese for lunch today. Many I know in the Coachella Valley have great things to say about Joy. It was better than anticipated. We got an amazing comfortable booth in their small intimate dining room. It was a comfortable calming place to dine. Had a good stiff gin and tonic to start. Their house gin is apparently Aviation. Well worth the 12 bucks. SPICY CUCUMBER $9. Solid 5-star appetizer. HUGE portion, more than enough for 2 to share. Crisp cucumber slices in a sweet/spicey chili sauce. Delicious. We took home the leftovers and 2 hours later it was even better. Definitely need to take home whatever you don't eat. It gets better later in the day. SEAFOOD CONGEE $15. Apparently, it contains shrimp, scallops and squid. I found some squid. Could not find the scallops and/or shrimp. Badly needed some seasoning. It was not the best congee. I put in a ton of soy sauce hoping it would help. It helped a bit. I just wanted some seafood in my bowl of rice porridge. Don't order this dish. Service was very good. Cassandra M. was our waitress. She was great. She has a can-do attitude; how can I help you have a great meal. I will definitely return. My lunch partner had delicious pork. I should have ordered the Md BBQ Noodle Soup he had, and this review would have been 5-stars. Everything was well-priced. I just need to order something different next time.

We selected some new and some favorite dishes. Every one was excellent. The Crispy Honey Shrimp is always a pleaser. We tried a new vegetable - bok choy and asparagus. Highly recommend this dish. We also tried a new fried rice with subltle curry flavor and pineapple, which was also excellent. Our true and tired broccoli and beef and pork lo mein did not disappoint. The calamari appetizer was a great start to our dinner with good friends, celebrating a birthday. The noise level seemed high this evening, and it was from one particular table. Not enough to annoy--just not the best ambiance for conversation.

I had a lovely lunch with my husband has Sean, his mom and my dad. We had a wonderful meal and everything was perfect. It could've been a little bit less noisy as well but other than that things were good thank you.
