The sandwiches are huge and priced accordingly. However, a normal appetite can get two meals out of these sandwiches. Plus was a variety of cold and hot sandwiches. The minus was most of the side snacks offered for sale were from Lay's. That surprised me. I would have expected some better brands of potato chips and other snacks. Personally, I would not buy Lay's as the taste is just mediocre. The bakery offers a variety of beverages, including beers. There was outdoor seating, which was a plus. The sandwiches were excellent.

Can anyone tell me why this is rated so high? I’ve given this place THREE tries because I thought that I must of just had a bad experience, again and again. No, this place is an overpriced, rude and tasteless experience. New location is definitely more visually pleasing than the old but same food. Seriously, save your money and go to jersey mikes.

My husband and I both agree…our sandwiches were the best we’ve had in a long, long time! On our stop to OC he had the Iron Man and I had the Sexy Italian and we got two brownie offerings to go. On our way back to Phoenix we stopped and split the Chicken Pesto sandwich. We told at least 6 friends it is a must try if they are in the area or driving on I-10.

The food was great… probably the best breakfast burrito I have had in a long time. Coffee was good, the location was bright and the service was excellent! If you are between Phoenix and Los Angeles, this is good spot to stop at. And we got cookies to go.

It appears their popularity has gone to their heads. Ate there today with friends while passing through Palm Springs and it was a big ho hum. We had a couple sandwiches and the salad (only one on the menu). The $17 salad was boring - flavorless chicken and industrial dressing - limited choices of dressing that tasted like it was straight out of the jug - flavorless. The sandwiches were big and pretty good as we shared them around. But, no ice in the soda machine, didn’t deliver the dressing with the salad, left the pickles (ordered) off the sandwich - had to run back to the counter several times. The outside tables were filthy. They just didn’t have it together today, and it showed. They really need to pay more attention to the details.

I had the Mexican Marilyn Monroe sandwich with cranberry bread. Tasty; very unusual and very delicious. My friend had the same sandwich with the jalapeño bread but it looked too “bready” to me. And she left out the chipotle which made my sandwich even yummier! I would definitely recommend the sandwich!

Why would you organize your huge restaurant so that customers have to wait in line for half an hour to order from ONE (yes, only one) overwhelmed cashier? By the time people order, they are already pissed off. Sandwiches are industrial food, nothing special. Proves that Yelp reviews are bull. If you’d like a great meal in Indio, go to El Tranvía, delicious Mexican food served by charming people.

Four of us stopped here for breakfast. We did not realize until our arrival that they had moved across the golf center road, and into a new building. The change is quite remarkable. Three of our group settled on a breakfast muffin. The servings are huge! One lady commented that she figured that there must be six eggs in her sandwich. Nothing compared in size to my burrito. It fed me for two full meals. I particularly loved the spicy sauce that they included inside the burrito.

After reading the reviews, was very excited to go here. Other than clean, regretfully have nothing good to say. Three of us went and all 3 were bad. Was not crowded but food took too long to get. To make matters worse, the young server dropped one of the sandwiches, offered no apologies, and took even longer to return with another sandwich. BTW- there was french fries & baked mac with the other orders but did not serve until the redo sandwich was made. Not a big problem but added to the disappointment. btw french fries were good, the baked mac was absolutely TERRIBLE. COLD

Went today (Saturday) to have a late lunch. Place was packed & all the tables had numbers on them. Only 3 tables had received food. Line was long to order. Turned around & left. Hoping to try on an off day. Not sure how long people had to wait for sandwiches but it looked like a looong wait.

MUST go to every time in the desert. Hot sandwiches are my fav. Great new location is sexy and sleek. The bakery is ok but the sandwiches outweigh

After visiting an art festival in La Quinta we stopped in for a late lunch. We had sandwiches and got some pastries to go. Below is what we had: chocolate nut cookie w/ white chocolate middle- very good, not too sweet, nice balance of flavors. Oatmeal cookie, very good, I usually don't like oatmeal, except for McDonalds, but I would buy this again. Blueberry bar- good, very sweet, it has a layer of lemon beneath. Carrot cake cheesecake, good, the cheesecake was a actually a filling, very small, but the rest was good in spite of that. There was a maple glaze that was okay, I really don't like the smell of artificial maple syrup and this was strong, but I still enjoyed it. Walnut brownie, I bought because there were walnuts on the top, but when I opened it, thee was also a layer of chocolate chips on top. Sweeter that I expected. Dirty Riverside was a wonderful sandwich, pillowy soft bread. Chicken salad sandwich was just average. Iced tea was good, Farmer Bros. my favorite. Some cookies were complimentary as the manager threw some into the bag.

The sandwiches here are large and more tasty than any others we have had. If you are undecided, try the Marilyn Monroe. the Hangover or the Turkey Club. Large parking lot adjacent. Serves beer. Order accounted and see deliciousness delivered

Went here once a few months ago believing such statements were true. No. Almost nothing. A vegetable sandwich (ONE item) and no mention of availability of GF bread (which is another issue for one of the people in our party); we did not stay to order. I have had their carry out before at my place of work, for working lunch meetings. Nothing at all special about those sandwiches. Anyway, did an on-line search today and you, trip advisor, with your top 10 vegan options in the Coachella Valley, came up with having TKB on the list -- and at number 3 yet. It shouldn't be on there at all. There is still only the one lonely vegetable sandwich. Do your homework. Give us a break.

Wow. You don’t expect to get such great food when you are on a long road trip and you happen to pass through Indio CA. This was a bit off the Highway, but worth the extra few minutes. The sandwiches were not cheap but they were huge and delicious. VictorB
