Stopped by this place for a quick eat. Not disappointed. The tacos Al Pastor were delicious! The service was quick and friendly. There was a busload that had gotten there right before us, and we still did not have to wait long. The ambiance was simple and clean. There is a little patio to the side if one wants to eat outside. When in the area, will surely stop again.

The other food may be good but after years of coming here and ordering chips and guacamole that has ALWAYS come with the guacamole AND cheese ON the chips, we got plain chips with a side of guacamole. When I asked about it - I was informed in a rude way "if you want cheese you have to ask for cheese!" SINCE WHEN?! The guacamole is too green and was gross! If you want chips and guacamole do yourself a favor and go to Chipotle! I am trying to continue to support a small business but I will try to avoid going at this time of day again in the future to hopefully have a friendlier employee there and will be sure to avoid the chips and guacamole.

The food today was disgusting! We found bones in the carne asada nachos, the chile rellenos were undercooked and inedible and the salsa was old. I threw everything in the trash. Won't be going here anymore.

We stopped here on our way home for breakfast burritos. They were really, really big and pretty good. The young lady at the counter, taking our order was very friendly and efficient. The place was clean and the salsa bar was well stocked and spotless. My husband had one with egg, cheese, and sausage and it was packed with meat. I got the egg, potato, cheese, and bacon and it was mainly potatoes. After seeing the difference, unless you want a lot of potato and lessof the other ingredients, skip the potato. The salsas were very tasty and it's worth a visit. The menu was varied and we'll definitely return next time we're in Indio.
Looking at reviews on Yelp and trying to keep the choice limited to taquerias near the resort we were staying at led us to this place. Most reviews looked really good. I was definitely disappointed in the food. I ordered the chile relleno and al pastor enchilada plate. The relleno was good, the pork was okay, and the sauce was not my favourite. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was fairly clean and set up like a typical taqueria, nothing fancy about this place. Prices were not cheap. The salsa bar was not great. Portion sizes were okay. As you probably figured, I'm not in a hurry to return...

La paloma is ridiculous, I ordered a plate of enchiladas and asked for the beans and rice to be served separately and the lady said they can't do that because it's like asking for separate sides, which the plate comes with beans and Rice I just wanted them served separately but they did not do it they just didn't give me the rice and beans at all but charged me for the plate either way. Gonna have to find somewhere else to go from now on. By paloma I'll make sure to let the entire family know not to go there anymore.
