Just a short distance from the Indian Wells Tennis Paradise, this simple seafood restaurant has a big menu. We enjoyed the freshness of various seafoods. Outdoor seatings were covered so we were shielded from the chilly weather of early spring. Service was prompt with desert California friendliness. This place deserves repeated visits because it is ideal after a long and warm day under the sun watching intense tennis.

I would defy visit again. The food was delicious and staff was friendly. I am rating 4 stars because the food took almost 30-40 mins to arrive.

The food presentation was amazing. The taste was just like any other sushi. I found to be very overpriced for the average sushi I got. The Michelada was good though. The service was okay the waitress wasn't very friendly. The restaurant has a nice concept and very nicely decorated but that's all it seems like they focus on the appearance but not the quality.

The decor is hands down the best part of dining at Valentino’s. The plush oversized benches and rich-colored velvet-like upholstery, the colorful murals, the hot pink neon signs, the bright garlands hanging from the ceiling, and the gold embellishments create a fun, cosmopolitan, modern vibe.I had La Toxica sushi roll based on the server’s recommendation, and I was glad I did. The spicy tuna in the roll tasted great. But I didn’t care for the house-made dipping sauce made with tajin, which was too acidic for my taste. Thankfully, it comes on the side; so I just skipped it and went for traditional soy sauce instead. My friend had the Carne, Tierra & Mar dish. The presentation is exciting, coming served on a thick, round slice of dark wood. I had a taste of the steak, which was well-cooked. But the nopales (cactus) in this dish wasn’t cooked correctly and was slimy. My friend had a Margarita that she said was good. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio, but unfortunately it wasn’t served cold. Our server was friendly but slow. We were only two people there for lunch, arriving right at noon when they open. For most of our meal, we were the only table there; and at the end of our meal, there were 2 other tables there (a one-top and two-top). So, it wasn’t crowded/packed, yet it took a while for him to come around and check on us after we received our food (I needed a ramekin for the soy sauce but our server didn’t come back so I had to drizzle the soy sauce right on top of each sushi roll piece) and it took a little while for him to come with our check once we asked for it.In spite of the hits and misses, though, I’d try this place again.

Menu is all over the place and can be confusing. Chips and salsa were average, service is good. Recipes are good but they need fresher ingredients especially the shrimp. Prices are a little high.

Los meseros fueron muy atentos y la comida excelente... El pulpo estaba cocinando perfectamente. Me encantó. Lo único que les falló fue que las tortillas de los tacos de pescado estaban frías. Pero pedimos unas calientitas y las trajeron luego luego. La música en vivo, muy padre también.
I was denied a table outside as I did not want to sit inside while band was playing music full blast. Staff was very rude when letting me know they wouldn't accommodate me losing out on a 20% tip as i work in fine dining and tip generousAlso they don't have a full bar and will not let you know when ordering drinks. They are made with wine instead of liquor. Do Better.
