Been wanting to check this place out for a while now. When I saw them in LA Times I knew I had to come, especially since it's so close to home. Three of us came in for Friday dinner. The place is small. Clean. Wood benches for tables so I'm assuming they probably do a lot more take out than sit down. Our server was absolutely wonderful. Friendly and able to answer all our questions, we were ready to order. First things first, there is no alcohol. We were a little shocked that not even beer or wine were served but they do make a good lemonade and that seems to change frequently. My friend had watermelon that day and it was nice. I ordered the Jollof Plate with a short rib and my friends ordered it with salmon and we had garlic noodles as well. Everything was great and flavourful. I wish I had tried more of the sauces they offer. I think we were expecting more for the price we paid, that's all. A $200 bill with no alcohol seemed excessive to us. I will order food from there again though and let my family try it out. But I always love supporting afro centric eateries.Vegetarian options: The Jollof plate and the garlic noodles are vegetarian.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level so very easy access

Me and my best friend went and it was the best decision we made this week! It was sooo good I took leftovers to my mother's house ,she tasted it and I went back and ordered again! It's so dope that this level of cooking is right in our neighborhood. Usually I have to leave the area to get great food like this. TWO HOMMES gets a 10 star rating!!

My Sweetheart and I were looking for a late night restaurant to dine and we stumbled upon Two Hommés. What we experienced was nothing short of amazing ? We ordered the Jollof Platter w/Catfish and House Salad w/Salmon. Yum Yum Yum. We were dazzled by the the delicious and delectable flavors and undeniable amazing service.We were treated to the freshly made passion fruit watermelon lemonade. INCREDIBLE!!! The food was prepared quickly and the presentation exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous and priced well.We can’t wait to come back for brunch.

This place is cozy and cool and the food is freaking fantastic. It's a cross between Caribbean, African and Asian flavors. It offers vegan dishes. The menu is not huge, but to me that's a good thing. I will be dining there soon.Dietary restrictions: The staff let's you know what's in the food. So if you have nut or soy allergies you can choose your dish accordingly.
We all had the garlic lamb chops and noodles. The food was delicious with a different twist on the flavor. The service was great and the two gentlemen that own the business came out to greet us. You probably won't find better food anywhere! The quality and presentation was bar none. They more help in the front of the house being there was only one waitress and the wait time was long. Regarding atmosphere, the windows were dirty which gave an overall feeling of low class, low quality food. That could be further from the truth. Everything was 5 star, from the lone waitress to the amazing food. If you don't eat here, you will be truly missing out.CLEAN YOUR WINDOWS PLS!

Stumbled here last night for dinner. We were NOT disappointed. The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The staff was exceptional, but Tony went above and beyond. His attentiveness and thoughtfulness made the dining experience truly memorable. He even gave me the opportunity to sample the lemonade in case it didn't suit my taste. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Two Hommes for their delectable cuisine and outstanding service.

Wow! We called the establishment because we couldn’t reserve a large party online. The young lady told us that the kitchen closes at 2:30, so just make sure we’re there before that time. We told her that we were literally already driving and in en route. We arrived at the restaurant at 2:15pm. We walked in and host told us that kitchen is now closed. We informed the host that we came in from Houston Texas and just spoke with someone, she told us as long as we were there by 2:30pm. The ending result of this is that we’re still hungry & wanted to faithfully bless a black owned business. Sadly, we’re going to have to support a more larger establishment, just to make sure we’re not let down.

Came here for dinner this weekend. I loved all the food taste-wise. We got the Honey Berbere Chicken ($15), Braised Short Ribs on Garlic Noodles ($20 +$22 for short ribs), and Catfish over Garlic Noodles ($20 + $8 for catfish). The standout was the honey berbere chicken. The spices were amazing!However, I don't think the price of these dishes make sense in the setting. To me, the price of a dish is made up of the quality of the food and the experience you have in the restaurant setting. Basically, you order either garlic noodles or jollof rice and that doesn't come with a protein. You then have to choose a protein to go on top of either. In my case, we chose the catfish ($8) and braised short ribs ($20). I think $20 is too much for garlic noodles especially in the restaurant environment. The vibe of the place is like a fast casual sit down where you grab a beer and some food. If I were to pay $20 for garlic noodles, I would expect something more trendy and upscale. Additionally, the garlic noodles also didn't seem to sit right in my stomach that night :( To compare, I recently went to a ramen place called Tonchin LA. The vibe is a lot more upscale and trendy. You can get a bowl of ramen with everything for $20. While here, getting the garlic noodles and a protein costs you at least $25.
