I bought a double tostada shrimp salad as I always do and it had hair in it that I pulled out of my mouth a very long piece. I threw the whole thing away and it was my second bite. This happen today Sunday 4-7-24 about 5:30pm. Im done with el polloloco I want nothing in return.

I only go here out of convenience. It's on my block. With that in mind, I will no longer give them my business. The service is bad, food is meh, and the overall experience leaves a bad overall impression.I've placed orders for pickup and was charged, only to arrive, and it was closed. If you have other options, seek them. This place is no bueno.

First time and wanted their Barria tacos, they don't sell anymore so I ordered 2 carnitas tacos.They looked tasty, but I fortunately were a little salty, and fell apart after 1st bite. The guacamole was watery just from viewing so I passed on applying to food.Will not go again. Fast food sometimes can be lovely. I did t even finished it.This is popular place too.
On January 27th, I was in the drive up window for at least twelve minutes or more before someone had responded . The order was three el carbon tacos , bottled water and small rice. It is obvious the car before me was unable to give her order because of the long wait and no one did not respond in the speaker . Once she arrived at the window, the manager refused service . Really! Yes, she was an African American woman. It was my turn , the older guy at the window asked, what did you order? I told him to look into the screen he than slammed the window . It was a manager on the floor helping and four other employees . What was going on with this picture? And why was the service at the drive up window extremely slow. It gets better remember I placed order iat the drive up speaker and once I reach the window the person who took the order got the order incorrect. The manager came to the window and I asked, for cilantro sauce and asked why does it cost??? The manager became upset and refused service and than called the police really. It appears that he had a racist attitude. You refused two black women service and called the police for no unknown reason. Shame on you el polo loco hiring a manage who did not display people skills, his organizational skills was questionable, rude, obnoxious, unprofessional and a racist . While he could not handle his team . Actually , this was not coincidental whatsoever. I am a citizen and I have a right to ask questions when patronizing a business . I would never ever come back to this business again. The managers attitude was quite appalling . Honestly, if I could rate this location it would be a zero. The customer service there has improved 10,000%!!!OMG!!!There's a young Black man who works there (he sounds like he's from NY?) and he is the BEST EVERRRR!!! He's polite, fast, very professional and friendly without being fake. He could really teach others in other industries about customer service and conflict resolution.I was kindly accomodated with veggie tacos with all the fixins❤️My ONLY complaint would be that there weren't any clean tables available. I feel that as soon as a customer finishes eating, someone should pay attn and clean that table so the next person can eat there. And sweep up the food from the floor too, just tidy up a bit. My only little complaintHave a nice day!Vegetarian options: They WILL reasonably and kindly accommodate veg-heads, eliminating the chicken on the items that they can❤️Parking: Their own parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.
This place is very poorly.managed. I've witness a employee try to get in front a customer car to dare to hit him. I also get my order poorly made.This use to be the last place I would get lunch, but it's too sketchy. Good to chipotle instead.

Wait was long, customer service poor, chicken dry soup greasy. I had to go through the line twice to get the rest of my order not placed in my bag. No receipt. This is the second time they burned my tortilla shell of my tostada.
