One of the best fried seafood markets in LA. I always get the shrimp, oysters, & catfish with French fries and macaroni salad(which is surprisingly good). Also add the 3 for $1 tartar sauce, it’s really good!.. I personally did not care for the whiting or red snapper. Also be sure they repeat your order.. Everyone in there has been friendly. Great spot!

New owners. Third time. You can thank me later. Fish, shrimp, oysters: all fried too hard while french fries are too soft. Reverse that sequence. Add two bread slices instead of that hard almost stale dinner roll. Whose idea was that? The roll lacks authentically. Let's go back to the hard fried over seasoned salty seafood. Fried fish is never crunchy like potato chips. It's lightly battered. I'm positive I could use the fried seafood as a blunt object weapon. Make those changes and hopefully there won't be a declining sales and a 4th owner

Always topnotch food here! They are now under new management as they've been bought by the owners of Happy Fish on Manchester. As long as they don't change the recipe here, I will continue to patronize them as my Filet of Sole is always perfect!!

I ordered the Dover Sole dinner... way over fried... and very salty. I selected fries and hush puppies and asked for double fries. My fries were overcooked, super crunchy. And I guess they couldn't do double fries, but instead of sending me hush puppies like I selected, they sent me potato salad.

Fish looks old, but the older people seem nice, the young girl in the evenings needs customer service training. She's not too friendly. This is a family owned business, and they don't seem to hire folks in the area. When they first started the neighborhood, employees showed them the ropes. Now their gone.

Loveeeee this spot but lately the fish / shrimp haven't been fresh, fries are overcooked I've had to take my order back a few times because the food had a funky taste or smell. Definitely disappointing. I really hope y'all get it together because I actually like the food when it's fresh but too many bad experiences lately, so gonna fall back until I feel comfortable eating there again...

I am a fried fish lover, let's face it. I try every "hole in the wall" in Los Angeles. The parking lot is a bit hectic but it's a huge shopping center so there are several businesses in there and a Ralph's across the street. If you have a sweet tooth there is a Baskin Robbins; anyways back to the fish. There is a nice Korean lady and Hispanic people making the food in the back so you know it's going to be good. They have signs everywhere alerting you of prices and what to ask for. Be polite to these businesses please, if you don't need it then let them know. I enjoyed the lady helping me order; again I enjoy small fish spots because they label everything so that there is zero confusion. I ended up ordering the four jumbo shrimp and two catfish with fries. It came to about $14 and some change. I got a hot sauce side for $0.35 which is very reasonable. They sell bigger bottles of hot sauce also. Now the fish was amazing and so were the fries; it came with a roll and a hush puppy. I think that now these fish spots are realizing that the less salt the better. Just minus one star for parking but it isn't their fault. I will definitely be back. This hood is vicious with the drivers so don't be alarmed. Thank you to the staff. I love local small spots!

It's been a local stable since i was a kid. Always call the order in to pick up due to the parking not being that great. But lately the prices have gone up so i don't each as much. But definitely a good lunch spot for a quick fried fish fix
