I generally love this place and since I've been injured; I hardly cook much but goes out to eat a lot. I'm kinda easy to deal with when going out to eat because I normally knows what I want and how I want it. Great food but my problem with this particular day; 2-28-24. After a hard days work; I decided to patronize this particular restaurant. Walk in and nobody there. I sit down. Good! I can get in and out! NOT! No one offers me a menu. Young guy and girl working there are talking or shooting the breeze as I'll call it. So as I sit and sit; I decided to grab a menu from an empty table. I decide on my order and I'm still waiting. After a while I am still sitting and then the guy ask me am I ordering anything. I started to say I'm not here just to be here. Anyhow; I've been here before and I like the older lady or even the younger girl to serve me. They are polite, very attentive as it don't take much for me. I tell the guy; I want hot sauce, black pepper and some water. He brings hot sauce and black pepper. I can't drink anything but water cause I'm on meds and I need to take them. He brings hot sauce and the pepper. I wait and wait for water. No water! Soon my food comes out. Excellent as always. The older lady comes to see if I'm ok; I politely asked her for water. She oblige! So then I start eating my food. I'm thinking I'll tip her. This guy isn't taking business serious. I've wasted a lot of time because of it and if it was busy; I could understand. Anyhow; folks are coming in so the older lady disappear. I'm getting a tip ready for her; not knowing she won't be coming back. I'm completely done eating. Meantime he left me the bill. I paid and waited again for a while. Now; I'm kinda frustrated and about to say some. Instead; I just left a tip that was intended for the older lady. Since it wasn't for her; I didn't tip as much and I started not to tip at all because tips are based on service. He didn't deserve one. Take business serious. I like to get in and out. I usually want the basics and I'm satisfied. So folks; this is like a one time bad experience. I've given them very good ratings before. I think one other time they messed my order up but since their food is always good; I took that order anyhow. I'll go again but if his service gonna be weak; I'll definitely be saying something the next time. So many young servers at these restaurants want tips but don't want to give good solid service. Once I'm better; I'll be doing my own cooking again...

Placed an online order at 10:30am (before opening for 2 orders) with a pick up time of 11:35am. Keep in mind I placed my order before they opened. When I arrived at 11:35am I was informed 1 of my 2 orders was still waiting for the "white rice", with an estimated time of 20 additional mins (meaning 12:00pm). I was offered a substitute of "beans and rice". So the beans and rice ready but not the white rice?!?!? So 1.5 hours for an order that was placed ahead of time. Not worth the wait in my option, even when placing your order ahead of time.

AARITE, DIS IS GOOD! This is my first time trying Belizean cuisine and my was it amazing! The Sampler platter with chicken and bean salbutes are delicious! Think tostadas but slightly thicker. I absolutely loved the panades too which are similar to empanadas. My only quip with the panades is that there was a slight refrigeration aftertaste. I'm not sure why... however, everything was pretty fresh. The service can be much better as I waited 40 mins for a take-out order and my order wasn't even huge! The ambiance is pleasant and relaxing, you really get into the Belize mood when you hear the fun tropical music they play here.

Service was great and food was delicious! Reminded us of our trip to Belize last year. Had the oxtail Mac and cheese which was heavenly and the beef stew.

In Inglewood, between the 405 and the Forum, there's a small trove of African and African diaspora cooking. Banadir Somali is in this neighborhood and it's also one of only three Somali restaurants in whole of California. There is, of course, a healthy dusting of spots from the ivory coast, Nigerian cooking being very prevalent here. Representing African American cooking is the venerable Dulan's Soul Food, positioned prominently where Manchester Blvd dips down, in the manner of a rabbit's warren. Another diasporic dive is Little Belize, operated by Belizean Kriols. Belize, despite being the least populated of Central American countries, easily has the most interesting food. There seems to be a greater integration of the divers people groups living within its national borders than in neighboring countries. Mezoamerican, African, Spanish and English foodways swirl well with one another in Belize. Having said all that, I'm not sure how Belizean their oxtail mac n cheese is, but this dish was the teleological force that acted upon me and set my trip there in motion. And yet, isn't their incorporation of the Americana staple of Mac N Cheese in line with Belizean culinary mutability? The oxtail was perfectly braised and nicely seasoned. That is, it was spiced enough to give you a sense of place, but not so much as to rob you of the beef flavor. We also ordered an appetizer sampler platter. The panades, which are like empanadas, except they are more indigenously American in that they are made from cornmeal rather than wheat flour. The corniness is so deeply earthy and is balanced with the spicy and slightly sweet liquid added to the dough. They are stuffed with an ideal puree of black beans. Also in the sampler are things called ganachas and salbutes. As a Southern Californian, you will recognize both items as two different types of tostadas. The ganachas, which you'll probably want to fling like a frisby into the trash, are a storebought tortilla, smeared with beans, sprinkled with cheese and baked all together (I think, or else the tortillas are fried before assemblage). To the contrary, the salbutes, you will not want to chuck in the trash. On a fried disk of corn dough rests the tenderest chicken in Los Angeles County. The cooks here know what to do with the bird. Also, you are served onion sauce. Strictly speaking - it is not a sauce, but a slaw of salt fermented onions. Like sauerkraut but made with onions rather than cabbage. Its tang is like the keyboardist in a brukdown song, giving extra funk and nuance to the earthy rhythm of what's underneath.

This review is based only on the food as I treated myself to some delivery from Little Belize on Valentine's Day from Doordash. If I had to experience a bad attitude on top of this mediocre dinner I would have given this place 1 star. I ordered the Oxtails with a side of Mac & Cheese. When the order was delivered, I did not receive the Mac & Cheese. The order came with rice & peas, oxtails, and cabbage. I order oxtails regularly from Blessings and Country Style Jamaican and these oxtails did not compare as far as the meat and quality goes. These were very poor cuts of oxtails, I had less than a mouthful of beef the whole time I ate this. MAN WAS HUNGRY AFTERWARDS! The rice and peas and cabbage were decent, some of the rice wasn't fully cooked. Not sure if I would come back with so many other amazing Caribbean restaurants in the area that have way better food and prices.

The young lady in the front is very rude. Low key judgmental and doesn't want to help. I can in asking for one item as I travel from afar. She said they just ran out and insisted she knew they didn't have any. After asking a few questions someone else walked up and helped. Come to find out they weren't out. She just didn't do her job and check to see. Reason for 3 stars. I felt I had to beg to buy something smh.

Went here many months ago for breakfast. Ordered eggs. “Sorry, we’re all out.” OK can I get a coffee? “Sorry, we’re all out.” I couldn’t believe a “restaurant” open for breakfast could possibly have run out of eggs AND coffee. That was enough for me, and I bounced.Today I decided to give them another shot. They are a local Black-owned business after all. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt I guess. Ordered the stew beef breakfast and tamales. “Sorry, we’re all out of tamales.” OK bring me the stew beef. 20 minutes later the server comes back. “Sorry, we’re all out of beef.” WTH?! OK OK. How about the stew chicken and grits? “OK.”She brings me the chicken served with watery, soupy grits, and a fork. Can I get a spoon? “Sure.” But the spoon never comes. When she brings the check she asks how everything was. I reminded her she never brought me a spoon to eat my watery grits with. “Oh yeah. We’re busy today and the dish washer is out. We don’t have any spoons.”There is no benefit, and no doubt. Local Black-owned business or not, I’m NEVER going back. I’d rather stay home and cook. At least I know how to wash a damn spoon! ??????

The stew oxtails were not good at all, had no flavor. I use to go to this restaurant on repeat a few years ago. I’m not sure what is going on but the portion and the quality of the meat was a disappointing.

Suggesting that you accept phone orders, especially on Sunday due to the demand of parking for Football/Sofi Stadium. The food was a little bit of a wait.

Hello if you know me you know I get reviews okay I went today and I ordered the oxtail mac and cheese and I went back to the window and order the second plate of the chicken and macaroni and cheese, so when I got to the car I asked the young lady I said is this both my plates she had a attitude with me. So when I got all the way home I noticed that my second plate wasn't what I ordered so now I'm stuck with chicken rice and beans. So with that being said I paid more money for what I got! So let's get back to the oxtails and macaroni and cheese it is delicious don't get me wrong but it's greasy. And the food was not that hot I only stay like 5 minutes away. I have one more thing to say that the young lady at the window had an attitude because I asked if this was my right food before opening the bag when I got home she made me nervous like dang she was like yeah that's what you ordered! Next time I'm going to open my bag before I pull off because Igot charged for some food that I did not get and the food that they gave me and replacement which was wrong would have cost me less than that.
