Man, my favorite little hole in the wall! Delicious Mexican tacos and enchiladas! Definitely try them both and enjoy a cold beer while your at it or get the purple drink!Worth it and so glad they closed in the parking lot for more spaces. Grubsouth deliveries!!! Go get you some beef or chicken Mexican tacos.

Found this gem on Yelp when searching for a local place near the airport. So glad we came, we live close, Long Beach, we will be back. Great food, delicious Bloody Mary (with their special bourbon) and awesome atmosphere with live band, "Parlor Social" was awesome. Recommended spot!!

My fiancé actually met the owners of Middlebar at the Artisanal LA and was quite impressed with their personality, bartending products, etc. We had been trying to give them a try for quite some time which didn't work out due to hours or operation and scheduling commitments. After several attempts, we finally made it. Upon our arrival on a Sunday afternoon, we stood at the at the head of the restaurant with no signs to "seat yourself" or "please wait to be seated", which resulted in us just standing there for quite some time simply wondering what to do. Subsequently, we walked to the bar at the back of restaurant and asked. Finally a server seated us at the vey front table with a nice view looking out onto Market Street. The band Parlor Social was preparing for their set as we got our menu and preceded to order drinks and food. After placing our order, the waitress returned to inform us that my order was no longer available. I told her I would make another selection and be ready when she came back. Nonetheless, she never returned to take my order. Upon her return to our table with my Fiance's meal, it was then that she realized she forgot to come back for my order. We then proceeded to share my fiance's meal. This little act of forgetfulness caused the bill to be cut from two meals to one. With the "sorry, I forgot" experience, poor service, do we seat ourselves or not, the very average and quite small food and drink portions for the price, the surprise charge of an additional five dollars per person added to the bill which went to the live music (which should have been expressed verbally or by a sign on the table), I just can't recommend Middlebar. As much as I love to support local business, I can't support this one and won't be back. The Middlebar really needs to step it up.

Breakfast burger was incredible (almost like butter so juicy), there was plenty of parking and they have great live music accompaniment for brunch on Sunday. Only thing is the service was borderline awful. Took so long to get our food, and it took asking multiple times to get waters or the check. The service, as nice as the servers are, is the one thing holding this place back a bit.

We love coming here for jazz brunch, Dessy & Ric'key always kill it with the soulful jazz and make the atmosphere so warm and welcoming. The whole staff is so friendly and attentive and the food and drinks are also to die for - we've tried the basic breakfast, the LG-BLT and the crepes and each dish is better than the last. Middlebar will continue to be one of our favorite brunch spots when we're in the area. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Literally the best brunch you'll ever find with the NICEST sevrers and an incredible atomosphere. Strong drinks and a curated menu! Sunday Brunch includes the INCREDIBLE Parlor Social Trio from 11-2 and its not to be missed soulful jazz and a warm atmosphere.
