They have hand made fresh tortillas here ! No other trucks do this ! Service might be slightly slower since tortillas are made on the spot but they're pretty good.

Got the steak and birria tacos with rice. Everything looked thrown together and the birria tacos literally fell apart. Steak tacos were alright and the rice, flavorless. But only $12 and service was timely. An okay vibe, loved the music and the tables added a nice touch.

Worst taco truck ever the cashier girl ,was very mean and my dad just ordered 2 cabeza tacos with flour tortilla but instead he got 2 with corn tortillas and got charged like if was flour tortilla. And when my dad tell them their mistake they just stare at him like if it's not their problem and when I ordered a soda the girl tell me that she has Diet Coke but once I paid for that turns out there wasn't Diet Coke my question is :why would you sell something you don't even have ?This food truck is kinda scam Their prices are not justifiedIt's not worthy Even if they are trying to make their tacos gourmet it's not gonna work because at the end it's just a food truck If you're trying to get a good taste of tacos you should go to central market LA ,To TACOS TACOSTUMBRAS those are real tacos not like taco dólar trust me tacostumbras has a lot of taste and it's cheaper and better quality meat and you'll have a good time. Don't waist your time and money with Taco Dólar.

Ordered the asada fries, the meat was good, fries good, just reallly didn't like the fact that it was drenched in NACHO CHEESE! Not a good taste and I've never witnessed something like this before. Definitely not ever coming back. Chicken taco was solid though.

Good Golly Miss Molly! This was the best quesadilla , no kidding . I went with the intent of ordering a burrito, but the man on the grill was preparing a juicy carne asada with bubbling cheese oozing out the sides. He flipped it, cut it into 1/4s and put on a plate.Sold. On the side table were all the condiments all fresh red onions, cilantro, radishes and plenty tasty sauces.Friendly clean and great prices. I'm going to eat the menu.It was so good I forgot to take a photo, next time

If I could give it a negative I would . My husband had been coming here since his high school days and introduced it to me when we started dating back when it was literally "dollar taco" . We moved away and we were in the neighborhood and decided to check it out. The tacos went from 1$ to 2.50 or so and the only difference is they have hand made tortillas filled with nothing but fat. It would be understandable if they were still a dollar but I prefer the original street taco. They are not in the business to be gourmet tacos they need to stay in their lane and go back to their old menus and taco style!

The meat from my tacos had no flavor, the salsas had no flavor, the nachos had no flavor at all and the lemons had no flavor. Nothing had flavor. I got home and got a stomachache and threw up. Taco Dollar isn't good like before.

Tacos were alright they say they have all kinds of meat and once you order they say they don't have it if you don't then you shouldn't have it on menu.Tacos got cold they weren't as warm .

I've been coming here for a while now, and today I ordered 14 tacos and all I got was one avocado sauce. Prior to this, I had given tip, I always tip when I go there. There's a new lady there today, who took my order. She was also the one who handed me the tacos. I asked her politely if I can have 2 avocado sauces, and I even showed her 2 fingers when I asked her. She placed one in the counter. I told her I asked her for two, given that it was 14 tacos. She gave me attitude and said she had given me a lot already. She gave it to me and insisted that she had given me a lot when all I got was one avocado sauce for 14 tacos. I've never had issues here but I'm very disappointed at her customer service!!!!!!!

Bada Bing Bada Boom Papa! Here it is. Ordered an asada burrito and slap me silly till my face turns red like a ketchup stain. The rice was different, yellow in color and the beans were not freshly made. Reminded me of contents from a can. So the combination of that made this burrito taste odd. And the chicken tacos I ordered, did not have the greatest taste. Even with salsa and lemon, the taste wasn't there. I took another bite and unfortunately, my taste buds reported that the chicken either lacked flavor or was yesterdays news. I once scored countless burritos from this truck. New workers seemed to have changed the flavor, of not only the service, but possibly the food. I asked if virtual pay was available (Zelle, google or Apple Pay etc) and was told no. Maybe this is a sign from the gods for me to just cook at home. Service was okay. Drink was good but needed more ice. On to the next episode. Alvaro Said It...if you smeeeeellllllllllllllllllllll what the truck is cooking!

The worst burrito I've ever had. The rice was yellow and tasted like instant rice. The beans where very obviously from a can. The meat was full of fat and tasteless. The only good thing was the horchata.

Where do I start? We came to town on a short vacation and really wanted tacos in the middle of the night. Taco Dollar was open late and had high recommendations so we headed over. So glad we did. Everything is fresh, reasonably priced, and oh so good!! We liked our snack last night so much, we came back for dinner today.

This place is legit! Just landed at LAX at midnight and was looking for something still open that was close. Ordered asada, pollo, el pastor tacos. El pastor was my favorite, then asada. Would definitely come here again... haven't tried other things on the menu but I definitely will if I'm ever in the area

The tacos here are great and they always open late. The tacos are also comparatively cheaper than a lot of places in the area. Each taco is $1.50 and I usually come by after 12 am.
