Never ever go to this restaurant. The staff there will treat you with F words and staring you intensely like you owe them a million. The most terrible restaurant I ever seen in my life.

At the front desk, I ordered a Twice cook pork rice bowl according to the classification of fried rice. There is no picture or Chinese, so I don’t know what it is, but if you want to talk about fried rice, give it a try. I waited for half an hour and there was no news. I called the clerk and said that it would be ready for me soon. I also asked the recipe to confirm if it was this dish. The other party said that it was fried rice. I took it and started to eat it and found it was wrong. The merchant just called and asked me if I ordered fried rice. I read it according to the receipt. I don’t know what it is written in your system, but it is in the fried rice category. During the conversation, I asked myself why I didn’t know what I ordered? ? ! It’s fine if you don’t have a picture, and the menu next to it doesn’t have this menu, and I showed you the receipt when you got the goods. If you put it in the fried rice category, why did you put it in the fried rice category? Really drunk. There is one thing to say, the soy sauce fried rice I got tasted good, but unfortunately I wanted to eat some meat, but there was nothing. I waited for so long, and the experience was really bad.

Pricey, but authentic. Flavors are nostalgic of home-cooked Chinese food and portions are decent. I ordered the beef flank and tomato, one of my childhood favorites. This was unexpectedly soupy, but not in a bad way. A bit sweet for my preference though. I thought one benefit of the "smart kitchen" concept was reduced overhead costs, but these are restaurant prices. Then again food costs have increased across the board in 2022 so it's hard to say. Would still come back and support them, it's hard to get SGV flavors in OC!

This place is located in a "Smart Kitchen." 14 restaurants under 1 roof. It was difficult locating this place since there really isn't any display or signs telling you where it is. There are also several office like buildings everywhere. I'm not sure how to rate the service since I believe all the restaurants share 1 cashier system and they just bring you down the food when it's ready. However I came at night and the cook was actually my cashier since it was the only establishment open. He was super friendly despite barely speaking any English. Food Intestine: 4/5 not really crispy. Kind of chewy. Flavor was great. They did include Serrano peppers with bell peppers which is more spicy so be careful. Pork & potato: 3/5 flavor was a little bland and potato's were so soft they literally fell apart when trying to eat it. Eggplant: 3/5 sweeter than a lot of other places. It almost tasted like those banana/taro chips you get from Asian super market. It's hard to explain but a bit odd to me. Potato shred: 5/5 not as sour as many other places. More on the spicy side. Perfectly cooked so that it wasn't mushy. Cauliflower: 4/5 more on the healthier side. Not as salty/savory compared to everything else. Really let's you appreciate the flavor of cauliflower. Beef & Tomato: 4/5 was not expecting soup. It tasted very similar to my girlfriend's mom's homemade tomato and beef soup. It was a bit oily due to the fat of meat. Overall the food was great. Haven't been to many Chinese restaurants where I can actually say I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Would definitely come back again to try more dishes. My favorite so far: the potato shred & cauliflower.
