I spoke to Wes the owner two days ago and scheduled a time for him to come out and clean my BBQ. Every time he said he would come out he came up with another excuse as to why he couldn't make it. He just keeps texting with excuses. Last night he texted me saying he would be here first thing in the morning after the traffic died down. It is now 3:40 in the afternoon and he still hasn't showed up. I texted him and he finally responded that he had something come up again.Totally unreliable.Do yourself a favor and don't deal with this guy. There are a lot more reputable people out there that truly want your business.I wish I could give him a 0 star rating.

BUYER BEWARE !!!!Scheduled an appointment with WES and emphasized that I had a dinner that night. I even followed up with text threads so that I knew I could count on him. We altered our schedules to be here and he's a NO SHOW. He doesn't respond to texts and sends all calls to voicemail. And voicemail is full!!!This guy is a FLAKE... If you can't handle canceling an appointment are you sure you wanna trust him around a gas grill?

We moved into out new home in December, knowing from the disclosures that we'd need to replace our built in grill. What we didn't know initially was that the previous owners had left a giant mess in the base of the BBQ island- years of nasty grease, garbage, even a dead rat. I bought a new grill for the island at Home Depot and started looking for someone who could clean up the mess and install the new grill. The first company that came out saw the mess and said that they weren't equipped to fix it. Disappointed, we then found the website for BBQ Restorations and immediately had a positive first impression after talking with Wes by phone. We booked service before I read Yelp reviews. To be honest, I read a few reviews and was nervous but decided to give Wes a shot based on my "gut." Wes and his coworker not only completely cleaned the base, but they also fit the new grill perfectly for the island. I can see that some of the reviewers were annoyed by how long the job took, but I totally appreciated the care that they took. Their work was meticulous. As much as I had tried to match the replacement grill for size, it was not a perfect match. Wes left briefly to get the needed tools and fit the grill to the base. Wes even took time at the end of the job to show us the features of our new grill and how to care for it going forward. Totally recommend this company.

Stay away! Nightmare experience! The unbeliavalbe facts:Wess shows up on Sat 8/11 to clean my Firemagic Echelon E790 . He says it will be $150 light cleaning or $300 deep cleaning .I opt for deep cleaning. He uses my two cans of OFF to clean the BBQ , a bucket of water, schotch brite and comet powder . He then takes away burner covers and grills to clean them with the promise to be back on Monday 9AM. I give him $200 as partial payment. It’s Monday morning and Wess doesn’t show up, no reply to my calls and text messages till 2:30PM when he replied stating that parts haven’t been cleaned up yet. He rescheduled for Tue morning.Tue morning, Wess doesn’t show up again (second time) and replies to my text at 10:40AM that instead he took another job and it will be there for 3/4 hours. He offers to stop by my home right after he is done (assumibly around 3PM) but for the third time he doesn’t show up.After many attempts I finally get hold of him around 5:30PM . Wess says “he didn’t think it wasn’t a big deal” (??!) and reschedule for Wed morning .I recommend with him to be here early because I’ll have guests around 12pm and don’t want him still working here.Unbelievable : Wess doesn’t show up for the FOURTH time!!. After texts and voice mails he finally replies at 12:30 PM stating that he “overslept” (??!) and promises to be here in one hour. FINALLY after blowing FOUR appointments without even giving notice he shows up only at 3PM on Wed afternoon. My huge mistake was when he first came on Sat to ask him to replace the two switches that control lights and fan of the Wolf hood above the BBQ that were malfunctioning . I honestly forgot about it and when I check on him I see he replaced them with some cheap looking switches stating he couldn’t find the original ones. This wouldn’t be the real problem. The real one was that he couldn’t put it back together. We aren’t talking about sophisticated stuff. These are two switches thus four electric wires to reconnect. After TWO hours he was still there working with all the wires and other parts hanging down the hood. When I asked him what was going on, he replied “I’m not trying to hang out here you know..” . “I need a tester that I don’t have here and it will be done in five mins”. I simply replied I have to leave now, please come back tomorrow morning at 9AMIt’s now Thu 8/16 Wess arrives at 10:30AM. it’s 12:30PM and after 2.5 hours of fight with wires (total over four!!) nothing has been resolved. When he walks out to get something in his car I follow right after carrying all his stuff because I want him out . We speak outside my home and he asks me $520 ! . $400 for cleaning the BBQ and $120 for the cheap switches he could connect. I gave him $460 to get him to go away, take the loss and move on from this nightmare. Unfortunately It isn’t over yet because I still need somebody to fix the mess left by Wess that obviously had no clue of what he was doing. Now it gets even better !On Friday morning (yesterday) the Wolf technician that I called in the meantime, shows up and tells me he can’t fix the hood because Wess threw away a long harness and something else . They will call me on Monday with an estimate but it will be expensive to fix this mess.As a side note Wess is constantly on a weird diamond shaped metal vape device. Your guess is as good as mine on what he is smoking . Oh and I forgot! The BBQ looks awful inside !

I have to say I've never gone out of my way to write a review. However I was so impressed with the prompt, on time, courteous, professional service offered by Wes of BBQ Restorations, that I wanted to show my gratitude and let others know about this business. He gave me a few options. I chose one, and four hours later, he was finished. I was blown away!My 10yr old Viking BBQ looks and works like a brand new grill again. I would highly encourage anyone in the market for grill services to give these guys a call.

Excellent Experience with Wes of BBQ Restorations. My wife and I had a big party planned for Sunday, and realized the night before that our grill was in need of some serious service and parts. Called BBQ Restorations Sat night and scheduled a Sun am appointment. Wes arrived on time, offered us a few options, and delivered exactly what we needed. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience.I highly recommend BBQ Restorations. Will B

Wes came and took apart our BBQ. My wife paid him in full and he said he would come back and replace the burners and ignitors. He never returned but cashed the check. He will not answer his phone. SCAM!!! Beware this company. This is a con and I'm sure the reviews posted are friends of this scammer.
